    Afternoon all!

Belated birthday wishes to Toots! I hope you had a fantastic day, and that your birthday wish comes true. Sorry I missed it! Loads of love and best wishes coming your way.

Hugs for seafarers wife - keeping my fingers crossed that everything turns out ok in the end.

I haven't read back that far, so if anyone else needs hugs, birthday wishes or congratulations, please accept belated ones from me.

I've had a busy but enjoyable week at school (probably my last week, as the teacher I was covering for seems to be nearly back to full health), so haven't done any flying during the week. Moon did do a couple of loads of washing yesterday for me, but hasn't put them all away, so I'll have to do that today. The weather has started to get really cold down here this week, so I don't think I'll be able to get washing very dry on the line any more - the TD will have to be used. On the plus side, we've still not put on our heating, as Moon has been keeping the wood burner going with the free pallets from work. The chimney sweep came the other day to sweep the chimney, and said that it didn't need doing until June, as the wood Moon is burning is good seasoned wood (this saved Moon a bit of money, which he then went out and spent on the euromillions and won the huge amount of £7 from a £20 spend - I was not very impressed with that, although I suppose it's good that he did get some of his money back).

Had some lovely me-time this morning, as I had my hair cut, and she blow-dried it differently this time (a mixture of curls and straight, which I was really pleased with - very Charlie's Angels). I've since done the food shop, and meal-planned for the week, had a very late lunch, and caught up on my emails.

Off to the website to apply for my car tax disc now, but will try to pop in later.

Love to all, and happy flying,

    sexymouse xx

Kitchen S&S'd, DW on, Dining table cleared, paperwork sorted and shredded as needed. Skip is still empty, it keeps on raining.

SS2 is kindly supervising the mass makers of mess in the tidying of the playroom - one chocolate button for every ten things put away, with the threat of everything left going in the skip.......

Vanilla, I know what you mean. My MIL always tried to do the ironing when she comes here but I take this as critiscism, not least because I know she meows on to me about how she always had to do the ironing for his XW.

Freja is being princessy.. and is fast asleep and has been since we got back from dropping moomin at the party at 11:30.. so I have a binbag of rubbish and 3 binbags for charity shop.. from my ebay pile and nearby piles of gibble.. DD3 came out of her room and said 'Ooh.. a table'... :o:o:o

Towels hung on line.. double pegged cos the darn things kept dropping off
WM on again .. last of school stuff I think..

OH been asked to put on new loo seats.. and I am wondering if I am brave enough to change a light fitting.. how hard can it be? Men do it!!

Decluttered prawns and muscles from fridge.. into my stomach!! and cuppa swilled.

Does anyone want a pile of girls age 13 school trousers (looks about 10 pairs)? Or a pile of age 12 boys black school trousers (5 pairs I think 2 are brand new)?

changing a light fitting - wear rubber gloves - I had a mate who saved her life by this little precaution!

I've had a very busy and expensive 24 hours.

When I came back from school yesterday I went to lock the front door when we came in and the lock bust locking us in the house. Nothing could shift it so today we had to pay £235 for a locksmith. In the meantime we have been climbing out of the living room window (me) and using the back gate that is 3 feet deep with brambles - it's our burgular deterrent (kids and DH).

Last night was the ball and I can tell you it was great fun climbing out of the said window in 4 inch heels and a pencil skirt! We had a fabulous time and I got very up close and personal with the lovely Stacey Solomon. My friend bid for her dress in the auction so this gave us unlimited access to the lovely lady, she is so slim she makes my size 6 daughter look lardy. I didn't drink and we got home at 1.45am - more climbing through the window! DD2 came in at 6.30 and I am so very, very tired. Out again tonight, hope I don't fall asleep in the middle of the dinner party as I'm certainly having a drink tonight.

NCT sale today was a bit of a disappointment. I was helping out on the clothes section and really couldn't believe some of the jumble people were trying to pass off as nearly new. Stained, torn, buttons missing not to mention fashions last seen in the 1980's. Fortunatley not all was bad and I got a lovely bike for DS3 which is hidden in FIL's garage for Father Christmas to deliver. It was £16:money:.

Not very much cleaning done. Swept kitchen floor and made beds mainly. need to have 40 winks now while little ones are watching a dvd or I'll never make it out tonight.
