Good shout on the MX-5, forgot about that, nice cars, very nippy, and you get some top down action during the 1 week of sunshine we get in the UK :rotfl:.
Who needs sunshine?
In the Westfield the roof was off on any day it wasn't raining, it could be a dry -5 degree's and the roof was off. Wrap up warm and suck it in!

The last thing you want with a convertible is sunshine if you go bright red in 10 mins like i do.0 -

Yes
I had a Cooper Hatch which I traded in for a Cooper S Clubman 18 months ago. Went for a test drive in the new Countryman last week. The boot on the convertible is too too small for my needs so I'm going back to BMW next year for a 1 series or a slightly older 3 series convertible.
Fab cars though. Bags of personality, great car to drive, and I've never seen one totally identical to either of mine. And I really appreciate the service department at my local dealer; they are second to none. (Been using them for years, servicing is free with a TLC pack and the smallest niggles they fix without any quibbles under warranty if it's less than 3 years old)
Get one with the CHILI pack and don't test drive a Cooper S or you will have to buy one!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

So is it well worth the extra to get the CHILI pack then? They do look much more impressive with that added on.0 -

Mine is Lightning Blue (and a 2008) as well. Good choice!
Any little niggles, take it to the dealer and get them sorted before the warranty runs out
