  • Morning all.
I've er 'mended' the washing machine.:o After a friend and I dragged it out and took the back off to check the belt hadn't broken, I noticed that the dial was set to 'no spin'! That would account for it not spinning maybe. :o:o
Seem to remeber little Samuel standing there last week. :rotfl:
Anyway, washing now in for a grand catch up day. Need to order all the food for Brownie holiday from Asda today - hope they've got a big van.

Had a good tidy up - if my daughter put things away after she has used them, my tidy up sessions would be so much quicker, really annoys me, but what can I do, I have nagged and shouted til I am blue in the face, but it doesn't make any difference.

She makes cards as a hobby, which I support, but she never puts things away and the trouble is with her condition, she runs out of energy very quickly, so I am always left to put everything away.

Now she wants to get into jewellery making and as I think I might have mentioned one or two times before, this is the smallest house in the world and we just don't have the room to store things and if you leave one thing out it looks untidy, but I feel mean not letting her do it because she doesn't have much else in life being in pain all the time.

She has no social life, her friends have stopped coming round because obviously they have a life and don't understand that she can't.

Sorry that turned into a rant!

Glad you found the reason your machine isn't working Bookie and it didn't need an expensive part or anything!

Luckily mine has an insurance thing on it, so calling out the engineer doesn't cost (and it is my landladies machine anyway, so it wouldn't cost me anything) but it is still annoying.

I have now taken Tuesday off work so that Jade isn't disturbed if he decides to come early in the morning. I am sure he will come late in the afternoon now I have done that!

Also got to pay out £60 to have my wing mirror replaced that some idiot broke off. Jade also had to fork out £40 for hers, but I have a feeling either her Dad or my Dad will pay for hers, which is good because she is on basic wages!

    Afternoon all :D

Got my washing hanging outside as it's GORGEOUS here today. DS is doing his homework now, but I'm hoping he will tidy the garden for me later (for a small fee of course). DD2 is going on a Biology field trip for the next week so just need to drop her off in a bit. I've got lots of photos to take for listing on eBay later and I've also got a choir rehearsal tonight.

Luckily I don't have any supper to make as DS quite fancies last night's chinese leftovers, so I'll just do myself something on toast.

    Busy busy.....

Just put some washing on here - day is lovely and bright. Just trying to decide about popping to shops - do need bread but need to aim for an LSD if possible.
