○•○•○ Weekend Chatty Thing 9/10th October ○•○•○

Morning all - how about a...

15 things for 15 minutes challenge

But with a twist....for every 1 thing you've been putting off doing, spend 15 minutes doing something just for you.

Mine would go like this.
  1. Spend 15 minutes working on next months budget
  2. Spend 15 minutes listening to a CD that makes me smile.
  3. Spend 15 minutes cleaning the mirrors.
  4. Spend 15 minutes picking out the fabric for my next sewing project
  5. Spend 15 minutes cleaning out one kitchen cupboard
  6. Spend 15 minutes making something nice for pudding tonight.
  7. Spend 15 mintues cleaning the bathroom
  8. Spend 15 minutes getting a pamper kit together by the side of the bath for a session tonight
  9. Spend 15 minutes putting a few items on ebay
  10. Spend 15 mintues browsing online
  11. Spend 15 minutes clearing up leaves in the garden
  12. Spend 15 minutes sitting in the garden with coffee and a book
  13. Spend 15 minutes ironing.
  14. Spend 15 mintues on prepping a nice meal for tonight
  15. Spend 15 minutes finding 15 things to declutter to charity shop/bin.

Morning Pooky and all to follow.

Love the challenge Pooky, will have a good think for 15 nice things for me as Saturday seems to be a day for doing the things I don't like, shopping, washing, cleaning.....etc

Love the challenge Pooky although I fear my ironing basket needs a but more than 15 mins spending on it:eek:

Its windows in this house that is the dreaded job as we have 3 sets of patio doors, I will do the living room and bedroom windows this weekend promise:)

I must also get a study plan together for my re-sit on 29th November otherwise I will start to get stressed about it looming.

Probably be around most of the day as I feel a bit of a cold coming on so will try and relax a bit.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I have a nappy cake to assemble (commission for someone) and am meeting ILs later - so far more than 15 mins of hard things there :rotfl: ;)

Have to persuade DH to look at leaking pipe behind mouldy kitchen cupboard wall (moved some cookery books and  found manky cupboard wall) also planning other household tasks. I suppose I am starting with the "for me" bits as I'm here and have done a survey this morning.

Also need to get ready tomorrow for starting uni on Monday.

    Morning All

Hope Elfen is doing ok with her run.

I look forward to Saturday's to get lots of little bits done, but then when it arrives I always seem to waste it somehow or feel too tired to do anything. Had a lie in and must have been in a real deep sleep when something woke me, so feel a bit bleugh right now.

But with me Lou it is the other way round - I have loads to do but just sit around doing none of it!

    Good news on Elfen

    Cor Sammy....Maccy Ds *drool*

I'm like you tenmah I leave all my housework until the weekend thinking I'll have loads of time to do it, but when the weekend comes I resent having to spend my time off doing s0dding housework!!

So...still in bed :D with cup of tea No 3 being made by DS. Had porridge for brekky (yum) so hopefully I won't be eating my own weight in cheese (with Marmite) like I have been doing for the past week.
