I'm a bit late, but here's a two week planner - we're doing a big shop on the 21st and I want to use up as much as possible in the meantime.

Monday: meatloaf made with pork mince, leftover chicken and bacon & mash & baked beans
Tuesday: chicken curry from mega reduced chicken breasts, curry paste and coconut cream & rice
Wednesday (tomorrow): sesame salmon with fresh veg and packet rice
Thursday: spanish chicken more of that cheap chicken with mega reduced packet mix & rice
Friday: sausage casserole from the freezer & mash
Saturday: BOGOF turkey thigh from freezer, veg & mash
Sunday: Birthday meal at Thai restaurant
    Monday: chicken stirfry & rice
Tuesday: BOGOF meatballs, HM tomato sauce and pasta
Wednesday: Thank goodness we all like salmon because it was on offer!
    Thursday: meatloaf from the freezer
Friday: cod mornay ready meal because Useless Husband is cooking
Saturday: shopping for something other than salmon and chicken!
  • These are the next 7 meals for us:

Roast Chicken, roasties, new pots, yorkies, green beans, cauli, carrots
Chicken Muck Muck & Rice (leftover chicken)
Toad In Hole, Mash, green beans and carrots
    Shepards Pie, peas and cabbage
Lamb Chops, New pots, cabbage and carrots
    HM Fish Pie
    Egg and chips

I have all the food items in, but may need a few spuds and veg. Do have some frozen veg which need using but only like really in stews as they are too soft and mushy.

This was a really good idea and really worked for us last week.

Monday : Chicken and pasta with a tomato sauce and salad
Tuesday : Freyaluck's smoked haddock, ricotta and spinach pie (really looking forwards to trying this!)
    Wednesday: Chilli and rice
Thursday: Cod (turkey for oh) with avocado salsa and new potatoes
    Friday: Chicken curry
Saturday : Steak and chips with salad and some sort of sauce.
    Sunday: Roast Chook with trimmings.

Going to make a big batch of my mum's tomato soup for mine and dd's lunches. Ds has packed lunches and oh refuses to deviate from Pret a Manger for his lunch

I have all the meat in the freezer and the storecupbord ingredients, just need to buy a few fruit and veggies.

Have a good week and I am looking forwards to reading other recipes for inspiration next week:)

carlhi1 The savoury mince is just mince with carrots onions swede a few peas or sweetcorn and a handful of red lentils. The Cheese cobbler is a basic Cheese scone recipie from http://www.be-ro.com/f_insp.htm. You can cook these seperate or roll thinner and cook on top of the cooked meat in the oven.I do these seperate and freeze what we don't use for next time. HTH
