Hey Peeps!
Where does the time go? I'm with PP - I can't believe it's been another week already!
Last week I posted plans for 9/10 days but inevitably things change, so here is my amended plan for this week:-
Sunday - boiled eggs and soldiers/roast belly of pork with stuffing, roast tatties, carrots and brocolli
Monday - mushroom soup (from freezer) and bread/butternut squash risotto
Tuesday - felafels (from freezer), creme fraiche and salad/smoked salmon fillets, spinach and salad
Wednesday - cous cous and extra salad chopped in/pumpkin stew
Thursday - leftover sausage casserole/tuna pasta bake
Friday - thai chicken noodle soup (from freezer) and bread/cottage pie & veg
Saturday - bacon rolls/chicken and polenta
Sunday - scrambled or poached eggs on toast/pasta and pesto
Monday - pasta salad (with pasta made night before)/3 bean chilli and wraps
Breakfasts are cornflakes, museli, Oatsosimple and I'll be having fruit as snacks.
Just need to get some beans, wraps, deli ham and fresh rolls on Saturday and that's it! Then we're skint 'til Thursday so it'll be a leftovers-from-freezer-few-days!
Enjoy your meals folks!

Chicken curry
Sausage and bean casserole
Cheesy topped fish and potato wedges
Pasta bake
only 5 days I know but Saturday is the start of my new week anyway for shopping, and little sis is visiting on Sat. so I think we will do HM pizzas.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

My first menu plan (just for me) for this week is
Mon Roast Chicken with potatoes and veggies
Using the chicken and veggie leftovers make:
Tue Chicken Tacos ( friend coming and bringing wine)
Wed Chicken and Mushroom Pie
Thurs Beans on Toast
Fri Homemade pizza - chicken and capers ( friend coming and bringing wine)
Sat a friend taking me out for supper (and paying)
Sun make something from the leftovers from the week
Hopefully I have ordered the right quantities - not used to cooking for myself!!0 -
I have never posted my menu before, but DH and I have been planning our menus for years; we both got back from work around 7pm so if there was no meal planned we reverted to take away which is bad for waistline and wallet line! Here is our menu for this week:
MON - chorizo and bean casserole (from the freezer as we made a huge amount of it last week.
TUES - lentil dhal with rice (cheap and tasty)
WEDS - Thai style soup (chicken stock, lemon grass, ginger, chicken and what ever else is in the fridge!)
THURS - bean chilli = have lots of tins of beans in the cupboard to use up. will make extra so have some to freeze for another day
FRI - Italian beef stew with pasta; we have friends coming round for dinner
SAT - chicken with an almond sauce (chicken breasts, butter and almonds)
SUN - not sure yet!0 -
