02 Cut data Allowence on iphone 3g

i have logged in and last month it said unlimited data and wifi and now it just says unlimited wifi and data now says 500mb

I am on £35 a month contract I guess it doesnt matter what you are paying a month if it says unlimited then it should be, unless i Downgraded to £30 a month i was told i wouldnt fall into this new thing they have brought in.
Will pop to the shop hopefully tomorrow or Monday.

Did you downgrade on the phone ? they may have drop the data because of this and I would not believe what they tell you on the phone. I have not downgraded so guess that why I still have mine.

I have just sent them an email aswell incase the shop isnt any help. The online chat person wasn't any help so just hope someone else is.

Thank you for your advice I am wondering why i got this txt when noone on here has, and my contract i have from them does say unlimited data and wifi like yours....they changed it pretty quick on my 02 with not much warning it starts tomorrow my 500mb and this is the first i heard of it.

I think that they are just waiting fo people to downgraded or to upgraded so that they can reduced it to 500mb.

I enquired about downgrading but didnt although after 2 months they did offer me the £30 month contract with unlimited data, wifi and 300 mins unlimited txts, but i didnt take it as i use sometimes more minutes then that if im away.

Oh so you have not downgraded so why have they reduced your data.

The shop will just tell you to talk to customer services so maybe call them now.

yeah they probably will, will call them tonight....if i can get through before 9, i was hold for ages a long time the last time i rang them
