My hunch was that of Lloyds, partly owned by British tax payers!!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0

the headlines are wrong, even on this site.... are they bidding to block payouts? or are they just not wanting to review every single case of sold ppi and prefer the current system of claims being brought on by the consumer or a claims comp?
"are they bidding to block payouts" And i was saying
"they are going to court to see if ,what the fos have said is going to happen with ppi complaints in december is legal"
And that is what they are going to court for.
What is in my reply that has nothing to do with this thread?0 -
My reply to this, was you asking if
"are they bidding to block payouts" And i was saying
"they are going to court to see if ,what the fos have said is going to happen with ppi complaints in december is legal"
And that is what they are going to court for.
What is in my reply that has nothing to do with this thread?
err, i marked it question mark? and then answered it...
have you read the new FSA proposals for Dec 1st? i asked you this on the other thread.. you never replied!
the new rules implore the banks to open EVERY single case of sold ppi and investigate it, regardless of the client ever making contact in person or via a claims comp.
that is what they are against, the current system is fine with them.0 -
Nowhere have i read that complaints will be put on hold. The fos expect banks to continue with claims.
If they will or not is another matter. Op, or anyone who has confirmation of any of these banks putting claims on hold please post, as i think fos need to know of this.
lloyds told me this morning that they will not be looking into my complaint at all pending the judicial review and i should receive a letter shortly to that effect0 -
That is so annoying, I think they should continue with the complaints until they have taken it to court, if they lose, then surely there will be yet another backlog.
I suppose you can still make a complaint to the FOS perhaps??The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
swigger, you say you called them today?
folks on other forums are suggesting the ppi dept is not open on a saturday
can you confirm which number you called?0 -
Wonder if my cousin still works for them, its been a while that I've spoken to her, may see if I can get hold of her.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
