I do at home, and can put it up for you, just not at the moment. It is on the kenwood website if you look up ken 450 recipes. I can't put links up yet. My daughters put melted chclate in a bowl and dipped the brioche bread in. I had it with jam....warm! YUM.
To be honest though, I have not tried a bad recipe yet, but this is my fave so far. Let me know if you cant find it and I will sort it out for you tomorrow. :)
that sounds good, I've not tried a sweet bread yet, I think I might have a go at it today :) & if I forget to put the salt in, I promise to take a pic ;)

sorry, cross-posted with you about the brioche recipe for spirit, I thought you were away :o

although I love my Kenwood, I have to say the instruction manual (not the recipe book) leaves a lot to be desired
Yes, Its rubbish! I just cant understand why they split the info over 2 books! Why not just 1? Surely a company that well established can come up with better?:o Fab machine though:T

it's bizarre isn't it? after all the effort they put into the machine itself, which beats the Panasonics hands down in so many ways (& I speak as a former very satisfied Panny owner)
the bread's every bit as good but it also ...

lets you know what it's doing at all times via the instrument panel

    has 5 user customisable programmes

    is fan-assisted

    feels sturdier

    has a window :D

    has a light :D:D

    is very handsome :D:D:D

    BM450.jpg

has a beautiful glossy full-colour recipe book

then they give you a flimsy little confusing instruction manual

but I think I can forgive them :A

My family groaned at the size of it. Needless to say they shut up when they tasted the bread from it! HA HA. Haven't bought a shop loaf since a day or two after it was delivered! OH and daughters in house today trying to make bread on their own rather than buy a loaf! Result!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can I just add, I used a duck egg in the brioche recipe. Very luxurious tasting. Love duck eggs!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker Mortgage-free Glee!
Well I found and printed off the instruction book.

I nipped into Lidl yesterday and got some of their bread mix. Looks like it has the yeast etc all ready in it.

Got home and put the ingredients in (just the bread mix and water) and have got it on now. It's done its first sort of stir (don't know the correct terms yet) it did it on a sort of a pulse motion if that's correct?

then it went into a continous stir or knead? I guess it's proving now as it's gone quiet. Daren't lift the lid in case it collapses!

can't wait for it to finish - might be a while though ((drums fingers))
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j

yes the bread mix is all-in-one, I think you usually get 2 loaves from a pack

if you want white bread flour, Lidl's is excellent, it's better than any of the expensive branded flours you'll see in the supermarkets
I never use any other kind of white unless I'm treating myself to some of the specialist flours from Flourbin
I got a shock there  they've had a major upgrade done to their site

the machine should knead gently at first, then once the ingredients are incorporated it kneads faster
that's the exciting bit ....... then you have the waiting for the best bit :D
