  • After threatened probate issues at top of chain and a distinctly unimpressed vendor when I suggested he might move out and complete our sale/purchase, it now seems we are back on for exchange tomorrow/Monday and completion next Friday. Fingers crossed everybody!
  • I'm still being impatient and wanting a firm mortgage offer through the post. The valuation only happened yesterday morning ;)
It's only been 10 days since I offered on the property but feels like a lifetime. Exchange is set for the 6th December so I really need the mortgage offer through very soon.

Me too!! I've just called mortgage broker admin team and she tells me she didn't know I was expected to exchange in a week! She's going to chase the lender today to see what else they might need, etc. I am so stressed out.
  • I am going to see my broker tomorrow to sign off the mortgage offer, and various contracts. Won't be moving till mid-Jan, but we are getting there.

Should hopefully be exchanging today and trying to complete next week... waiting for word back from solicitors on the exact situation and going slowly insane.

Hah hah hah - well, surprisingly, the vendors idiot solicitors (and that's not being harsh) haven't returned calls or anything for the last few days (yet again) so nothing happened... yet again.

So incredibly utterly sick of being pratted around by these guys - sick to death of being given the run around by them, by him vanishing for weeks on end and being constantly shunted back another week... yet another week... yet another week. So after drumming it in right from the start that we HAD to be in for November - it's going to be December now and if they keep on going the way they have been - it'll be 2011.

Really really at the end of my tether to the point of tears of frustration now.
