  • we finally had snow over night only a little which has sadly already turned to ice.

did toast at school this morning, they decided to let the children play out at break, it was freezing and the children managed to find the ice and go 'skating' - there were tears.

We have 3 cats, thay dont do cold, rain or wind. They use a litter tray and refuse to step into the garden unless there is a hot sun to greet them!

FTM - wonderful news about your grandson x

Better day today, back on the os wagon. After yesterday's car harrassments I couldn't get my rear in gear to do anything so ended up with freezer roulette for tea (pilchard fishcakes, chips and mushy peas - yum) so got up early this morning to make the bread I should have made last night so DD and I could have lunch and a new batch of yogurt which should be ready in time for tea. My approved foods order arrived throught the snow and was very exciting opening it had thought the red wine vinegar said it was 2.5 litre but turns out to be 5 so guess I'm making even more stuff as I ordered 2! Usually use white vinegar for red cabbage but think I'll try it with red wine vinegar as I now have so much.

Just waiting for the plumber to come now as I have a drip from the ceiling - think it must be from when the new boiler was put in a couple of weeks ago just hope it's not too serious as I'm sure I've had my share of disasters for the week!

FTM So glad to hear little Sam is ok and coming home that must be such a relief for you.

Hugs to all in need and wrap up warm everyone.
