  • Oh I am welling up with the good news on here. Fab fab fab to hear about the expected babies

Cranky your son is right about bananas and acid reflux. It is something I am prone to and bananas are terrible for causing a problem. I always eat fruit between meals as fruit ferments fast and goes up not down if eaten after a meal, as its progress is blocked. Maybe your son could eat some apple at school. Chocolate is also bad so I am mindful of when I eat it and I never eat after 6 pm and also have two bricks under the top of the bed. Good luck with school and getting this sorted
  • Wow, Annie and Monty:eek: What a surprise.:D

It's amazing what goes on in those allotment sheds.:rotfl::rotfl:

    Congratulations to both of you.:j:j

;) Felines are my favourite ;)

  • Well am sat here in bed crying my eyes out!!! So happy for Annie and so moved by Shegars posts. What an amazing thread this is. Full of truly wonderful woman.
Haven't posted since last week, when i was really low, been reading but havent had the energy to string thoughts together, can i just say a big thank you for the support i received, WMF, FRUGAL and HIPPIECHIC your comments were so kind and appreciated. FRUGAL i am sure you are right its definately SAD that is bringing me down! Until may last year i was taking anti depressants, i suffer from an anxiety disorder and had been on them for twelve years:eek: I felt i wanted to see how i could get on without them, and until the clocks changed was doing very well thank you:) I think i am going to try one of those SAD lamps, i have £100 quid stashed from my birthday and feel it could be a good investment.... the whole family could sit round it getting some "winter sun". Just wondering if anyone on here has tried them? Hugs to all you lovely, lovely people xx
  • Morning all........................((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one......

Annie what fabulous news and Jedhiteacher too, so mant OS babies for 2011 take care.....

Another little furry body this morning, I think they must have had a party and decided to stay...we are calling in the pest people, we could go on like this all winter and end up with chewed heaven knows what!!

Nice morning for a change, dry but cold. OG has decided he is going out to rake the leaves off his precious lawn........I dare not tell him he will be loosing more of it in the spring as I up our growing space. In retrospect we should have taken more garden when we took the bit of paddock...however.....we are looking at square foot gardening......

Still very tired, cannot be bothered to clean the bedrooms, so they will have to wait till next Monday, think I might have to have a visit to the Dr.......I have had depression problems in the past, think the last few weeks are catching up with me.

Annie56 - congratulations on your news. This is going to take some getting used to, isn't it? Hopefully this will cement your new "career path". You're certainly going to be busy planning now!
  • I haven't personally Lovelife, but my MIL bought one for FIL years ago, when they were quite new, and they made a huge difference to their life. Although, being a typical man, he thought it was all nonsense once he started to feel better, and refused to let her use it. Until he went downhill again.

Have you looked at those daylight bulbs, too? I think Mardatha was one the people who mentioned using them, I know quite a few people IRL who do, too.
