  • Happy Birthday Parsonswife and Zippy hope you both have a lovely day :)
  • Went for a trot round the chaz shops by work and got a grey boyfriend cardigan for £2.50! Looks new too.

Gailey - does your hubby find that if he overtakes people in the Micra they take offence and nearly kill you to get back in front? Mine has power steering (thank god) and doesnt start shaking violently until doing 80 lol. Heres a Micra fact - they have the tightest turning circle in their class! Same as a taxi! Its great, 2 point turns. God I need to get out more!

Looking well dodgy in work at the mo. Our council needs to save £58 million, looks like compulsory redundancies will be a reality soon!:o
I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round

Have just finished my first Big Brands order cost £20 but over £5 of that is delivery. have taken the plunge and ordered as there was a code about earlier for double the order for free, (at least that was how I read it anyway) but now slightly worried where I will store 12kg flour, 7kg scone and doughnut mix, 7kg muffin mix, 7kg bread and roll mix.:eek: Avoided the rice pudding etc but did manage to save a little on toilet roll as 9 rolls were £2.99 which means I should get 18 rolls for the £2.99 which is about an 90p saving on H&B, and as we now use at least 2 rolls a day :eek:(DS6) I need as many rolls as possible as cheap as possible without compromising on softness (DS6 again). Any idea how long delivery will be, email says 2-4 days, but wondering if its likely to be nearer Monday or if may arrive Friday?

Am feeling very out of sorts today, as the kids all came home from school with letters yesterday, most wanting money before Friday and others needing m y attendance at events tonight and tomorrow. This really irritates me as there is no way schools organise these events this last minute, yet they just choose not to inform parents, I have tried complaining but school do absolutely nothing about it,

If its anything like approved Foods they send a despatch email and the parcel comes next day. I put in an order at the weekend and its due tomorrow, in the morning I can sign in and see to the hour what time they expect to deliver.

I also put in an oder for loo paper, was not aware of the two for one though??????shucks........

Well I might be around a bit more now. OH is home from hospital, I collected him this morning. He had some soup and a sarnie and then retired to bed. I woke him at 3.30 with tea and cake, but he has gone back to sleep again.......he has asked for ham and bacon frittatta with a small side salad for his supper.

All his 'ospital clothes have been washed, the car stank of hospital smell, so I left the windows open for a while before I put iy away. Got the clothes on the line for an hour or so, they are over the airer in the sitting room now, should be dry by the morning.

I think the 100% extra free is for food items only, but I could be wrong.

Yes thats how I read it too. Times may be tough, but snacking on the loo roll is taking it too far:rotfl:

You could try Tess Gerritson's books as I like the authors you mentioned too and enjoy her books.

If you go to their website it's on there under the heading promotions, I think it's: BBFLXC 100%
