Firstly, that was a typo which I've corrected. The house I live in is 3 bedroomed, not 4, but I doubt 1 bedroom is going to change anyone's opinion.

LannyLee & greent I'm upset by your comments, but we certainly won't be falling out over them.

I went from having my own home to having nothing, and now under this scheme Cameron has taken away the stability and peace of mind that I had and that I craved for when renting privately and had unreasonable landlords playing God with my life by charging monthly rent I/we couldn't afford thus forcing us to move.

Hippeechiq - I'm sorry that you're upset, that wasn't my intention & I'm sorry also that you've had problems with landlords before & so can certainly understand your concern about the new changes, but hopefully you will be ok as I understand it it's new tenants & not exhisting ones that are affected.

I know it wasn't hun :) - I've had a hard few years and it's just a bit of an emotive subject for me x
Thank you greent - and I also know you wouldn't go out of your way to upset me :)

Isn't it for all of us!

Dh & I are living in a house we bought at the height of the house prices & so now are approx £30K in negative equity on an interest only mortgage, we're lucky in the fact that we're only young...ish :p (me 27 & DH 31) so we've got plenty of time to pay it off, but we wanted to start a family in the new year, but if interest rate sky rocket don't know how we'll be able to pay the mortgage & support a family
    Very worrying!

I'd recomend Primani for duvets we got a kingsize for £11 & it is so thick, it's brilliant, reminds me must swap from our summer to winter duvet this weekend.

ASDA and Tesco have always been good for cheap quilts. I got a 13 tog King size in Tesco for £10 last year!:money:

Knew I was forgetting something :p

On a more positive note, got my R1verfords veg box on Tuesday & it was brilliant & on the back of that I've convinced DH to have at least 2 vegetarian meals a week, his only stipulation that one of them be tortellini pasta bake, which is fine with me as we have this once a weeks anyway. :D

Thanks for the duvet suggestions - will have a look when I shop later,

Off to meeting with ed psych (re DS12) - am dreading it, we asked her to be brought in to get some sort of diagnosis (thinking possible autism) and therefore extra help at school, instead we got a meeting where she told us he was unhappy at home because we wouldnt let him watch stuff (age 18 movies etc)!! And that we should allow him to cos his peers were? How does that help??
