This is a glimpse of the very near future I believe - and the sugar puffs and Lidl/Aldi can stay:rotfl:.

MG, re the dates you mentioned, if you want to head this way I might be able to help, I'm a bit short of time and I'm not sure how much you would need me to do but I might be able to offer a few suggestions. There are 2 universities here after all so hopefully a few students might be interested. And of course you could stay here with us - as long as you're not too bothered about mod. cons. like ceilings ....:rotfl:

Also was there mention of a poster being emailed around?

Dreaming Spires are on my list - so I would love your help....
and I don't need ceilings - although my first night in my bedroom when my new one wen in was really strange:D

Grabbed a cuppa - so far today I have

    Taken DS to school
Picked up the kids and the bus and taken them to the train station
Helped the all buytheir own train tickets for Edinburgh
Parked up the van and walked home with DS2

    Picked up car
Went to Mr T's for 3 things
    Put Petrol in car
Checked and topped up oil, radiators, windscreen bottle and tyre pressures.

Drove to LIDL and did weekly shop £19.70:j
Stocked up on bread flour from savings account £6.00 for 10 bags

Home and gutted the car (knew there was a baby apple festering in there somewhere!!!!! it was lovely:eek:)
Brought the football strips in from the car
    Fed the piggies an apple
Hung out one load of washing

    Put shopping away
    Washed bathroom floor and bin
    Fixed snack for DS2
    Coaching call - of course

Then our Web Angel phoned and we sorted some more stuff out. Just got to tidy up some words and we are nearly good to go.

    After coffee its

talking to the bank about whereabouts of business account details
Cooking the BOGOF mince to turn into Shep pies, spag bol and chilli
    Third load of washing

    LUNCH

and then I have a whole afternoon - right up until ten to five to concenrate on some business things that need finishing.

Head down - cos theres only really today and Saturday because I'm takig DS1 to Dr Who Live on Sunday.

    I've got goosebumps!!!!!!!!

    Keep thinking Ocean liner MG

  • Hi guys...still totally mad at work... and think I am becoming a victim of my own success! "Why yes, Mr Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University, I can analyse that huge amount of information in less time than it took you to say what you wanted me to do!" In fact, in the meeting, I told him straight, that it would take me at least a week of doing it non-stop and I wouldn't get a week free to do that within the next 5 to 6 years. He laughed and then told me I didn't need to fret and we could get the information another way. Hoorah for being upfront and honest.

MG, you are so inspiring and totally rock. When I think back to how i was when I first started posting, and how I am now... well, there is a HUGE difference. My work colleagues are seeing a difference... and my work rate has sky rocketed! I have had several offers of lots of strips... do we have a central place we are sending them yet? I might have missed that post because i haven't been checking as often as I would like! :( Work does get in the way!! :)

And speaking of which... best get back to it! :)

if peeps can hold onto the shrits for the mo, i'm writing to an air air exporter and they have receiving depots across the country, so once costs have been finalised we can publish a list of where to deliver the shirts.

Also, the shirts would be needed to be packed in cartons and address, but again, this would be published on the FB site.
