    Hi Guys,

Have just finished catching up after a hectic day at work!

Have been having a chat with my dad about Kit 4 Kids and he has already asked a few friends. He works as a community officer in quite a deprived area, but is always looking for charity events to get the kids involved in. So, he is going to look at getting the kids to make some posters for a collection point in their communtiy centre.

I will then do a detour, if I make it to Leeds to collect them all:T He also mentioned he would get an article in the local paper:eek: To do this Olive, I need more details though and the website!!! I know you have previously given the charity number but if you could PM to me that would be great.

It is truly amazing how little starting points expand like spiders webs!

I was also telling him about the amazing group of people I have been chatting to and somehow he decided you were all a bunch of scam artists trying to take my money:rotfl:(I'm really 31 but he still things I'm his little girl!). So had to do a bit more explaining!!!!

My parents do make me laugh sometimes, they just seem a little sheltered!!!

Secret *To the person who mentioned internet dating, me and my other half got together like this* Just had our 9 year togetherness anniversary too! (We aren't married)
Faced up to debts April 2009: £43099:eek:

Can I ask what exactly is this 80/20 rule? I've seen it in relation to diets (or healthy eating plans as we call them here;)). Does it mean that you have to do things properly 80% of the time, thus leaving some leeway for bad days/days when things go wrong?

Good question. I personally find it very interesting because the rule is almost completely a theoretical but work very well in many situations. It means that: 20% of effort can achieve 80% of the result - the other 20% result will take 80% of the effort. Pefectionists go for the 20% of the result and thus overwork things - 80% is usually good enough.

Another manifestation of this rule is that when trying new ideas only two out of ten will work. Once we know this what we call failure is only ideas that don't work - but to get to the ones that do one has to try some that don't. This is why the saying that to increase one's success one has to increase one's failure makes sense.

Another manifestation is that it still hold true that 20% of the Earth's population use 80% of the World's resources. Etc.

OK - my launch date and the day I come off benefits it appoaching fast - Runaway train fast:eek:

So I hereby nominate today a 15 mnute power day.

Working on the theory that you can do anything for 15 minutes, I am going to grab my timer and clear my life of all those little annoying jobs and unfinished projects that will scuper me int eh weeks to come.

Priority is to finish the words for the website - but there are loads of little jobs that just need "FINISHED"

So first thing - off to clear up after breakfast, do the dishes and get DS1 ready for his school trip the the big city and museum.

Its gotta be more fun than beating yourself up about stuff thats not finished right?

With a start like that to the day, MG, you are bound to be "business ready" by the end of the day - giving you the weekend to take some chill time with the boys ahead of the big push next week.

Steady on hon - the ironing board is only pulled out - its not actually done yet - :rotfl:

Gotta just clear the decks and then my coaching call this mornig was about setting a schedule - given me a lot to think about too if I'm going to be "working " alone in my office under the stairs.

Soon to become an oak-framed home office and storage unit in the grounds, maybe behind the covered pool area and the six-car garage...

MG just want to wish you everything you need, want and desire for your first business day on Monday. Won't be around this weekend as daughter is off dancing but will be sending you positive vibes - and some vouchers for DS1 next week.

Also sending positivity to the matrix so those that need it just grab it :D

Good stuff MG - I will do the same this morning I think as I have lots to do also. So, so far:

    Up, Showered, Dressed
    Clicks done
Sim card that I can use for either Avon or my business idea ordered with cashback
Ebay checked - no watchers yet :-(

Now off to do 15 minutes sorting out round the house I think!!!
