Quick "Stop press" for anyone who's not seen it:
Missymoo reported on another thread that Tesco have today increased the price of their own white bread flour from 50p to £1.29! MySupermarket bear this out also. Checking on there, I spotted that Sainsburys still have theirs at 60p, but Asda are currently leading the way at 50p per 1.5kg bag still - I've just been down there and bought 6 bags!
Apologies for the completely O/T thread hijack! (but not that sorry - I'm about to go and post it elsewhere also!;) )🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just for info - these are not special eggs but my Mum has 3 lady hens that lay eggs & she gives them away to people (including MG) rather than feeding them to me & the other doggy boy Diego.
So they are special eggs - THEY SHOULD BE MINE

Many thanks for all your good wishes Folks. It is much appreciated. She is still poorly this evening, but i feel that the docs are now on the right track and we may have a way forward for her.
Off for a catch up with everyone.
Good luck with the web site MG.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I live nearby - I have a car and can collect and would be happy to store them.
I'll PM you my details.

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Can I ask what exactly is this 80/20 rule? I've seen it in relation to diets (or healthy eating plans as we call them here;)). Does it mean that you have to do things properly 80% of the time, thus leaving some leeway for bad days/days when things go wrong?
@Lara44 Lovely to see that you've made some local friends to socialise with
Nosey and pointless question:o Did Coolties Mum and MG meet on here?
