The very nice CID man, said they thought it is a group that come to Norwich "just for the weekend" as the last few weekends have had spates (sp) all around the outskirts of the City.

What he did say, was that when we go out we should always leave a light on (on a timer) and a radio playing.....Not very MSE, but better than losing a lot more I suppose.

I guess it is a bit of a warning to all of us, especially at this time of year, as it gets dark early, and often we aren't home from work etc by the time it is dark....
The burglary happened whilst Nan was watching 'Strictly' with her neighbour, so not exactly late at night :eek:
