    Morning Superwomen!,

Lara this is probably stating the obvious but please realise that just be going out there you are already a million steps further on than most folk who would love to have done X, Y or Z but just didn't have the bottle. You are doing it lady and some of it you will like and some you wont but at least you've tried. I HATE listening to folk saying oh I wanted to do this, that or the other but I met someone/other piece of carpy excuse that basically translates to 'I didn't have the balls'. Stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something different can be a bit scary but what a feeling once you've done it!

MG I LOVE ironing and if I was closer I'd do yours too. Well no actually I don't love ironing but I love having ironed clothes and bedding so it's a neccesary evil! XXX

  • Morning all! Being a bit of a slacker, I've just put pen to paper on my 250 list - wow - don't I know a lot of people. So between us, we must know a mind boggling number of people....now a bit weirded out by the power of the universe (in a good way)!

Pania - if you pop in here - I think the 3 Peaks is one of your challenges. I did it earlier in the year and can highly recommend an ex-marine mountain leader chap if you're looking for support, rather than driving the car/ finding your way yourself. It just occurred to me when I scribbled his name down on my list. PM me if interested. If not, no dramas.

Firewalker - I have the elastic hairband on, do I have to ping it with every negative thought? Eeek! I am going to have a big red spot there :rotfl: This sounds like a silly question, but how do you tell the difference between a thought and a feeling? Like if I am feeling anxious about doing something, is that a ping too? Or is it just if I think 'this will never turn out right....' as a properly articulated thought?

    Hi Lara,

you slap at every negative thought - things like 'I can't...' 'Yes but...', 'Silly woman...'. Distinguishing between thoughts and feelings only seems difficult - thought pass; feelings last. But the best bit is that thoughts can be controlled - where feelings can be accessed only throught thoughts but not directly (without resorting to chemicals and/or drungs). Feeling anxious - no ping; the thought behind it (I can't do this; it will go wrong; I will fail) - ping.

Hope this helps. And yes - the first week is painful but then it gets better.

    Look after yourself.

  • Hello

I am sorry if I have missed the link but I have just scanned back and can't see it for looking. :(

Please could someone re-post the link to the Facebook page for Kit for Kids, as I can't find it under a search on there. I have some other pages on there and will therefore be able to spread the word round about it a bit.

    Thanks muchly, M

The perfect day to achieve!!! I am so having some of that:beer::beer:

    1. Figure out how to sell a minmum of 9 books per week

    Memorygirl

Hey MG, hope your day is going to that plan :D. Am wondering if you have your books listed for sale on Amazon? I know that won't definitely mean sales but you can always point people there especially if they are trying to PM you and your inbox is full. You can add 'signed by the author' to the description as well.;) You could also add to any publicity that your books are for sale via Amazon and add your seller name. In case you haven't tried it, Amazon is v easy to list on and no upfront fees though they do of course take a chunk when you sell but it does give you access to a world wide [well to countries where they sell] selling platform from your ain wee hoose which I think is pretty amazing. Quick plea - I am trying to set up an Excel workbook that I will be able to take on the road with me so that I can run my business "on the hoof"

Is there a very patient - spreadsheet obsessed individual who can help me connect everything together? It looks to me like quite a big job - but will perhaps be really simple to someone who understands the software better.

    Many thanks

Memory Girl, you do realise there's a steady stream of us flyladies heading over to your thread....hope you've done your dailies...:rotfl:
Yes... once you get one you tend to get the rest of us :p
Ah!! the scary organised ladies :rotfl::rotfl:. You guys come up with more excuses not to do ironing than hypno06!!!

So you all coming over to play a while?

Do you think we can get this thread making Twink's Hob nobs as well???:T

    Memorygirl

Given what the flyladies seem to achieve when they get together (apart from ironing :o) and the fantastic things achieved by everyone on this thread, I can't see that anything is beyond us :D

I'm still catching up with the old thread, and getting my head round a few things that have been blocking my progress recently. Once I'm in the right place I'll be joining in actively. The positivity I've seen here, and the fantastic achievements have really encouraged me to deal with the issues rather than getting bogged down by them. I'll go back to lurking for now, but will be encouraging you all the way.
