It did take me several years to get to that point! And now I have a cleaner I dare not leave ironing out on show for fear of being seen as a slob :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. mike you gorgeous trans-gender Graphic Designer that's lovely.:A
Obviously the web address is carp -coming soon (13/11/10) is a web-site for the actual orphanage, with a link to our facebook page which is Kits for Kids.
.com is so American darling! We will have .co.za, always said as Coza
Do you think you should mention that the recipients are all orphans and vulnerable children?
Do you think we should mention the time constraints (:eek:) as we need to receive them really by late November......
thanks :A
Happy to include anything you think is relevant and which will encourage and clarify action required.
Time needs to be spelled out - definitely.
Could we reconvene this asap when you have the final details?
Also could you clarify for me who is running this project... I mean what organisation etc. I presume all the information will be on the front page of the website so I'd appreciate seeing that as it progresses.
I'd make this flyer/email attachment simple, and aimed at getting people to go to the website.
Contact me direct if you wish!

Hey Everyone
Thanks for the wonderful wishes! I thought this weekend might be a bit lonely but have made some new friends at the guest house. It has made me think about Mr Big's challenges a bit differently. In such a new place I can see how those tiny, daily interactions are so vitally important to a truly happy life. Boddy - it sounds like this is just what you do in your volunteering role - how wonderful.
PA - I'm just south of Namirembe in Rubaga, how funny. Namirembe seems so peaceful and quiet - what a nice area to live. Hope your friends are having a wonderful trip.
Firewalker - I have the elastic hairband on, do I have to ping it with every negative thought? Eeek! I am going to have a big red spot there :rotfl: This sounds like a silly question, but how do you tell the difference between a thought and a feeling? Like if I am feeling anxious about doing something, is that a ping too? Or is it just if I think 'this will never turn out right....' as a properly articulated thought?:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Morning
Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Sunday and say that today is 10/10/10 and according to Sky news it is the perfect day to achieve - although that is everyday here on the matrix :j
No hobnobs here .. but pretty party rings0 -
The perfect day to achieve!!! I am so having some of that:beer::beer:
7 days until business launch - and I'm getting more than a little anxious.
Time to be super duper focussed and get creating some cashflow for us three to live on until the first seminar date.
1. Figure out how to sell a minmum of 9 books per week
2. Figure out the best way of asking you guys to help me fill rooms on the Students Survival Guide - Memorygirl World Tour. I'm thinking little 15 minute chunks of help so its easy and quick to do (and you don't get cheesed off at me asking).
3. Talk to Web Guru - and talk to Graphics Angel:D
4. Finish Matrix list so that distribution of flyers etc for everyone is a doddle.
First - baby is awake. Breakfast for him. 15 minute blitz and then................ACHIEVE IS THE ORDER OF THE DAY!!!!

Hi Lara so glad you have settled in well and yes I know Rubaga although the last couple of trips I have stayed in the guest house at Makere University definitely not so quiet there. The view over the city from Namirembe is absolutely wonderful. I am getting all nostalgic thinking about it.
I had another meeting with our little girl's new parents yesterday and it went well if we can't keep her I am happy that she is going to them she is going to be a real daddy's girl:D
Whilst chatting yesterday the Mom revealed that her brother supports an orphanage in Uganda and has recently been there which is quite a coincidence or godincidence as I prefer
