How about something with a teal blue in it? :)

    No. Cherry red and white.

Trust me. I'm a graphic designer.

Assume you've got halogen lighting? That will make the cookie dough look darker in shadowy areas. Not sure wallpaper with a black background won't shorten the room.

Hmmmm..... I prefer the green (bottom option) personally. If I had to choose another one it would be the right hand one on the second row down!

    Hi MG

How can he close the school ?

No but her can convince his missus t stay on in India rather than coing back.

Is it simply due to the lack of children on the role and therefore money coming in ?

Yes - 6 families didn't come with us after the summer - 4 because of HTH, one because they were moving to Holland, one didn't want their kids in the school any more.

Do you need to replace everyone or just the head and her partner ?

Don't even need to replace him. Head caould be a Manager of some kind, wouldn't even need to be Montessori trained because the two teachers are.

Can the staff salaries and other expences be covered if you have a full roll ?

Can actually be covered with 10 more kindi kids. We are a recognised school so we can access the early year funds for the pre-fives so it doesn't cost anything for hese kids to be with us (for the parents that is). We have capacity for 24 pre 6's. and 12 6- 11 year olds.

What will option 4 actually involve ?

Don't know yet hon - still at the finding out stage of collecting the info. The two teachers are willing to stay and are very committed tothe kids and the school, which is a start.

The school is a regstered charity - so may be relatively easy for us to step in and continue running it IYSWIM.

How much dosh is required to sort it out ?

I don't know hon. But actually get the feeling this is not a money issue - but something more rooted in the family involved. We ar eon the doorstep of St Andrews - we should easily be able to get 10 more kindi kids as he school has the most excellent OFFSTEAD reports and already has its Curriculum for Excellence audit done and passed.

Could sorting this be a challenge for some of us based in Scotland, who may not have any personal challenges to sort in the next 50 days ?

Thats a big ask hon. Although I really would appreciate any input of ther info I should look at before making a decision.

Brainstorm - the head of early years in our council is retired - I wonder if she fancies a 6 moth challenge. Off to find her number.
