    Your GP's surgery?

Just moved. Don't have a GP right now.

EDIT - and every time I've been to a GP's surgery feeling like this, they tell me I'm fine.

When you register with a new GP, they normally do new patient checks with the nurse, tell them how you're feeling and they'll probably do extra blood tests to play it safe, or refer you to the GP anyway.

Congratulations - you have just answered your own "where to go from here" question. :D

Having said that, if you really REALLY feel that you can't cope with doing battle with the Drs surgery right now, then prioritise getting yourself well first - so, the right sort of food, do a food diary for a week as a "double check" that you are eating as well and healthily as you may think that you are. Vitamin C tablets and echinacea for 30 days to boost your immune system. Lots of fluids. Maybe try one of those Berocca (?sp) type energy tablets - Boots do an own label one which is reasonably priced but beware, it turns your wee dayglo yellow! :rotfl:

As and when you do feel up to it, sort your GP registration out as this is really important and should go to the head of any priority list for when you're better. There's something you can do without expending too much energy actually - think through who else you still need to notify of your move and write a list. You may well find that a different GP will have a very different attitude to the sort of health problems you are suffering at the moment as well - ie they may be open to looking for a solution for you, rather than simply wanting to convince you you're fine! If not, you may have to look at the second opinion route.....

As I say, I've been to a GP several times - seen different ones, they all do blood tests, urine tests, all sorts of things, they all come back saying I'm in perfect health. Literally, thats a quote. And meanwhile, I'm dragging myself around.

    Nope!

I do think this is the answer - over the last few days, I've stopped eating rubbish - I've been "eating well" in tandem with also eating lots of garbage, and thats had to stop.

As and when you do feel up to it, sort your GP registration out as this is really important and should go to the head of any priority list for when you're better. Agreed. There's something you can do without expending too much energy actually - think through who else you still need to notify of your move and write a list.

Dozens of people and firms, literally. Thats one of the stresses involved. I'm doing it as and when.

I've had three or four opinions already, EH, and they all say the same thing - you're fine. I've sat there and cried and they say, yes, you're upset, but we can't do anything for you.

DT I'm another one mega hit by the women's pension age changes. I had a real rant on KC's thread earlier this week. It seems strange that no one seems to be realising the effect on women in their 50's who've done all the contributions for retiring at 60, then for me it moved to just over 63 with the EU/Labour equalising with men, and now it looks like 65 to 66. So despite doing sensible pension planning, I'm left with in pension planning terms with nearly no time to do anything, and full employment unlikely in the current economic climate for peoples in 50s & 60s, so savings meant for retirement will need to be spent on livings costs, as the retirement savings will stop eligibility for any means tested benefits.

I must admit if it was a private insurance scheme and you'd made all your contributions and they told people to just go jump, we're not paying you until a few years later there'd be an uproar.

If anyone knows of any on line petitions to complain about it, I'd like the info :)

Morning all - just signed up to the forum and caught up on the weekend's postings. Wasn't around for the 100 day challenge, but fascinated to read your results!

Karma - have you thought about seeing a herbalist for a different view on things?

KC I turn into 'super slug' if I eat wheat/gluten, might it be something like that? You could try a food diary and assess how you feel in relation to what you've been eating. Remember there can be a time lag though for the effects.
