Sorry Guys - haven't been on much this weekend - but I have been reading.

    ................ and been busy

    TADAAAAAAA

We now have a brand new private place for the matrix to talk about 4 -posters, bra issues and everything that makes the world go around.

Everyone who has given me an email address will receive an email before I go to bed tonight - cross my heart.

If you don't have an email from me-its probably because my admin skills are not up to snuff, so PM me in the morning and I will get you sorted during phase 2 :rotfl:

Wish me luck - 122 and counting

I first read that as saying if you had money you wouldn't be able to help people. The Secret Millionaire in the background puts the bubble in that idea.

Then I saw that you probably meant you can't see how you would get rich helping people. Isn't that precisely what MG is doing in front of our eyes? Isn't that how almost every business succeeds?

Oh no it is definitely not the first if I was rich I could help more people in lots of different ways not just with money but with my time because I wouldn't have to worry about money myself

MG yes she can get rich and help people - not sure that does apply to almost every business - obviously to some - but others no - part of the problem I think is that I am going into an area that I am uncomfortable with I have posted previously that I am not a natural seller - you won't catch me on a school white elephant stall put me on the tombola any day don't like making people buy stuff - probably why I am sticking to the safety of online selling don't actually have to see the customers :o would rather provide a service but don't know what - so why am I doing what I am doing - the answer no bl**dy idea seemed like a good idea at the time but now it is coming to reality different matter - sorry wittering now probably should retire to my own diary and stop hijacking

Without wanting to sound like one of the (de)mentors, what has MG got that you haven't?

A willingness to ask for and accept help?

I'd just like to point out that certain others still need to learn this acceptance of help that is offered

Ruby, I've popped over and given you probably far too much advice :o

Thanks for sorting the forum MG! :T
  • In a conversation with DS1 (aged 9) I asked him what he wanted to do when he was older. He said he wanted to help animals and earn loads of money. I told him that you didn't really get paid a lot to help animals (I forgot about vets) so he said that he would work part time in a job earning loads of money and part time helping animals and then he'd have a day a week to clean the house. Then he thought about it a bit more and said that actually he'd work an extra day earning loads of money and pay someone else to do the cleaning. I like his way of thinking :)

She knows the help she needs - but you are right I would rather help someone than accept help - so now I am asking for help to find out exactly what help I need :D

Also I need help to work out how to post on the new forum I can't see a post button :o

There you go thats two requests for help in one post I am learning:)

Hangs head in shame, I am 41 and only now have discovered that this is exactly what I want to be doing :o:) :rotfl:

ETA: problem solved, please ignore this!!

    HELP!

In the last few days someone kindly sent me a contact for MG's Leeds list and I have accidentally deleted it. I no longer have the PM and can't remember who sent it.

Please can you re-send the PM to me and I'll get the info copied over?

    Thank you!

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.
