Aah, Bless!

I have to admit that's the bit I didn't like about going swimming, too! Mind you, when I learnt there weren't such luxuries as showers in the pool (even though it was part of a 5-star Hotel!) so we were always slightly damp and chlorine-sticky when trying to get back into school uniform. Loved the swimming itself, though.

Hi guys
I have liked the Facebook page & sent it to my friends. I would write something on the wall if I could think of something both intelligent and Facebooky.
I sent the e-mail off to Leeds United's press office about half an hour ago & shall see if they respond.
This is a useful page from the Football League giving all the media contacts in league football http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/ClubMediaContacts/0,,10794~1357329,00.html
I've asked for a piece in their programme and a collection point in their shop (as a minimum). If they agree I shall also ask for permission to go and hand out flyers before the match on the day it goes in the programme. If anyone within reach of Leeds wants to come & help they'd be very welcome.

A few pages ago someone asked me about the creative writing class & if it was worth doing.
Well I'm not sure as I'm only two weeks in but I think it is going to work as a motivator. Last week we covered character profiling which was fun and having profiled a character she wants us to write a 500 word scene involving him.
Last week was the first time I had read my stuff out to the class. The teacher was so nice about it that I didn't believe her & suspect she is just being encouraging. If she is just being encouraging though that is okay too, I couldn't cope with her telling me it was sh*t in front of everybody.
