  • Can anyone help me with North London contacts for MG spreadsheet? I've just been using yell.com and other sites so it doesn't matter if you aren't local... I won't be able to get it all done in time. PM if you don't mind helping... thank you x

Good idea jc. I've not joined the matrix because I don't think I've got a lot to offer at the moment but I'm quite happy to invest or buy stuff.

Snoozer - your support and comments are more than enough contribution ......................

Sounds like a good idea MG, that way we wouldn't have to watch what we say and can discuss these things a bit more freely. Also, it wouldn't have to be on a public viewing platform either.

Keep this thread open for the non-financial side of it x

Nice to hear someone else has heard of credit unions and LETS :)

I wonder what Mr Big is thinking when he's reading of all these originally socialist ideas of credit unions, LETS & Cooperatives, even if the idea in the long run is to promote more businesses which has a more capitalist flavour :D

His atitude is "haven't we proved capitalism is fundamentally flawed? I believe that time has come for the more feminine principles of co-operative and collaborative business to step front and centre onto the world stage"

Thats cribbed from some notes from a couple of weeks ago BTW.

I think what we are looking at here is something with a different flavour than before.

MG I am so pleased that you have suggested this. I had started to worry that we were flouting the rules too.

I would like to keep this thread going and head back to the lovely posts of breadmaking, shabbying and other money saving ideas too.

    thanks
I fully understand why you are planning a 'members only' site - that's why Martin has warnings about this being an open forum.

However there are a few of us (plus the lurkers) who are not ready/willing/able to join the Matrix, but have followed MG and the rest of you with admiration - and gained energy and encouragement from your achievements.

Please try and keep this or a similar thread going.
