Just thought I'd add that Bravissimo is the place to go and be fitted if you're of the larger persuasion. The woman in M&S told me I was a 42D, but my boobs looked AWFUL and I had backache all the time. Fitted at bravissimo I now wear a 36FF, and I've got my waist back as my boobs are now supported and in the right place
Even if you're fitted there but order from Figleaves, the difference was amazing, people commented and asked if i'd lost a dress size! I've now spent a year buying new bras and knickers, and I do feel a lot better about my shape, even though I've still got a few stones to lose. :)

Seeing as its for someone else - and I didn't even start the topic of this afternoons chat (although I am so going to rib the next mentor that comes on the phone to me:rotfl::rotfl:)

Ladies - if you are ahem - fullsomely endowed in the banger dept I suggest you PM Souk.

................ only cos I know where she works and , erm , she mentionned something about Shhhh!!! Staff Discount:T:T

Ask me how I know that ???? Yup!!! 36FF - but they are now referred to as Pinkie and erm! Perky :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Look what's happened now - the entire matrix is going to start going about in fabulously supportive and cheery underwear

Nothing preventing this applying to Mike! ;)

*I do not know Mike and therefore am not and cannot make any assumptions - but they do 'supportive / control pants' for men now (don't you know!)* :o

    Shhhhh. (Reading....)

Mike - no reason for blokes not to go about in supportive and cheery underwear at all!

You mean it could be Friday night every day? :)

In fact, a lot of men's underwear drawers are full of saggy and grey old rags...

So true... It's like you've been here.

    (You haven't, have you?)

Cricket just to second or third Bravissimo, you'll be amazed at the difference a properly measured and fitted bra makes, loads of people asked if I'd lost weight. I found I carried myself better as well, walked a little more upright.

I feel the need to buy some decent kecks as well, mine are all Asda 5 packs....

Heavens I am always running after you lot trying to catch up!

Re liking your body; I agree with what others have said, everyone has good attributes, focus on those, and as Taka said think of what your body does for you rather than on looks. I once saw a quote which was

'Look after your body - where else would you live?'

If you experience some serious health problem you will suddenly realise you didn't appreciate what you had before when you had a healthy body, no matter what it looked like! So stop obsessing about looks and find things that make you feel good instead (probably not the gym, by the sound of it) and the rest will follow more easily.

Incidentally I had plantar fasciitis (sp?) and I found that cycling was a big help.

Claire thanks for the earrings, they arrived today and they're lovely!

    Good glad you like them

Well thanks for all the get well wishes :), But I'm struggling today to breathe, my chest is killing too :( Think I might have a chest infection :( If I'm not better by the end of the week , I'll go to the drs.

Mum had her xray has to wait 7 days for the results, she came back here and helped me clean 2 bedrooms, and took a pile of washing home with her to sort.

I had some really cute beads today, Hello kitty, Pink cows, pink and blue bunny rabbits, and mouses :) (someone on here was looking for cow earrings but I cannot remember who.

And now, I have those little compartments in my drawer that give each item its own space. DD says that I now have knicker OCD. I say that there are worse things I could be obsessive about :o

OK, am I the only one who read Hypno had compartments in her drawers for each item & got v confused 1.gif
I'm used to paying about £35 for a bra

Cheery D if you are in the east midlands any time PM me - there is a factory shop near me which does Fantasie, Fauve & a couple of others (used to do Rigby & Perla, stopped last year 3.gif. Prices from £15 to £25, with the odd cheaper piece, matching knickers & fully trained fitters :T. Having slimmed down to 'only' a 32H _pale_ I find it excellent :)

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
