are there any plumbers on here?
I live in a gound floor flat, which backs onto our communal back garden - which is where the manhole for the communal drains is.
Anyway, to get to the point... i've got water coming from somewhere in my kitchen, and i suspect it's from the drains, as for some reason, there is an open pipe in my kitchen floor, set in the concrete. i think it links to the drains as it is about 4-5 in in diameter.
Is there any purpose to this pipe? it just goes straight down and the waste pipe from the sink goes in a different direction. Can i block it off somehow so that i don't get any more flooding?

On a more serious note it seems that the Universe is really taking notes - this is a wonderful opportunity to increase the visibility of the Matrix and of course our capacity to do good (for each other and for causes that otherwise fall between the cracks of political expedience).

I didn't think there was anything official, but maybe I just plodded along and missed it.
In terms of what you can achieve, this time last year I had no job, DWP were paying the interest on my mortgage so there was a shortfall, and there were no permanent jobs around.
I started work again on a temporary contract in March this year, and in the last month have gone from strength to strength. My contract was due to expire at the end of this week; as I write I have a new contract on much better pay, more suited to my skills, and have also negotiated with my current employer that I will continue to work for them on a freelance basis.
So I suppose that was really my 30 day challenge

He is intrigued by the whole thing, the whole “women working together”, “beating the recession”
Sisteeeeerssss are doooooing it for themseeeeelllvessssssss” – sorry couldn’t resist
The great news is that he agrees that the story is much bigger than a few women getting back to work (although that’s pretty darn important to me BTW!!!!) but more the power of a group working together in short bursts to create huge results, achieving things, big and small every single day. Not bad for a group of women who really got into gear about 100 days ago.:D
And there was me saying to OH last week that in a years time MG would be famous, never mind within a couple of months! Maybe this is my calling, a fortune teller:rotfl:LBM 04/10:j

I'm a bit braindead at the moment - but if I think of any ways you can achieve your targets I shall be back.
The only numbers people have are wherever they ended up numerically on the master list I was creating - so peeps that became 25 or 50 or 100 were let know, but not for any useful reason.
However, if you bear with me until next Monday I have a suprise for the Matrix that will help us moving forward and address some housekeeping issues that we have.................. be patient, we are working as fast as we can around everything else thats going on.
