Robsmum - congratulations! And yes, I DO mean that. It was the right decision for you to turn it down, but it still can't have been an easy call. Well done for following your instincts. :T
Olive - at the risk of making you wobble again, the shipping cost was for a container, yes? Have you GOT a container? Hiring one wouldn't be an option as you'd have to pay again to bring it back empty presumably.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Could you use something like google docs to collate (sp??) what kits we have in a spreadsheet? I'm not sure how it works but folks in the MFiT2 challenge on MFW can input their challenge updates using that online ( See here. ) from wherever which dumps the data collected to a google spreadsheet.
Something similar may be the easiest and least time consuming way of doing the ever changing stocktaking for kits for kids - particularly if it can be set up to be able to input different kit sizes, who has them and where in the UK they are.
Sooooo... do any of the matrix know how to use this or similar?Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Not sure but the shoebox charity I think uses the Forces' postal service. Maybe only to areas where there's a war or British base?0 -

I may have also just accidently (in the sense I intended to but probably shouldn't iykwim) ordered something off the website Claire but just so you know that there is no rush at all as I know your not feeling 100%
Hope everyone else is having a good day

Well there’s the end of my first day back at work.:j:j:j
Managed to access a grant for £100 for “back to work” clothes from some local suppliers – so armed with Souks list I will take a trip out this week and stock up on some staples for my new working wardrobe.
........................ and then the day got really interesting!!
Someone on here, was chatting with someone who’s fianc!e works in TV production. He tracked me down this afternoon – and well its official ladies, YOU GUYS ARE FAMOUS!!!!:T:T
He is intrigued by the whole thing, the whole “women working together”, “beating the recession”
Sisteeeeerssss are doooooing it for themseeeeelllvessssssss” – sorry couldn’t resist
The great news is that he agrees that the story is much bigger than a few women getting back to work (although that’s pretty darn important to me BTW!!!!) but more the power of a group working together in short bursts to create huge results, achieving things, big and small every single day. Not bad for a group of women who really got into gear about 100 days ago.:D
BTW I think there is another “slightly freaked out” guy who can’t believe how quickly things happen on here.:rotfl:
So, long story short, he has half a dozen programmes that they would like the Matrix to be featured on – and he’s phoning back in a weeks time (at the end of the 100 day challenge) to find out the following:
100 Days – who has achieved what on their challenges
100 Lovely ladies – that’ll be us (and the lovely Mike)
100 students booked to be trained (already got 43 since Friday so the rest should be achievable in 7 days)
........................ and of course, the BIG news story will be when we achieve the 10,000 smiles for Christmas.
Had a good long chat about what it is that has piqued his interest. Seems what really has got him is that we are essentially anonymous to one another and yet have created this powerful ball of tumbling energy that helping so many of us. He completely gets that there will be many of us that will choose to remain anonymous (not me obviously, its pretty easy to find out who I am LOL) But we can nominate those that are willing to be the face of the Matrix.
So I am off to spend some kiddy time and then put my thinking cap on as to how I can blast through my targets and get you guys on the telly.
