Cheaper Oil for Fuel?

Must remember to top up during the summer when demand should be low!
No longer a reliable indicator. If you had bought last summer you would have paid about half as much again.

39.375 for 1000 litres delivered to Central Scotland just now, inc VAT. My last fill was about 1ppl above lowest price in January.0

Just got a quote from http://www.crownoil.co.uk/products/kerosene/

When queried, was told this included the charge to deliver from their base: 200 miles away!

35.99ppl + vat for orders this weekend @ http://www.oil-club.co.uk

Minor "ups & downs" so far this year but still cheaper (again) than mains gas. :j

I'm in South Norfolk and have just paid 36.5p +VAT with CPS. For the first time ever I had to haggle with companies against Boilerjuice. Boilerjuice was giving me a 36.7p price, when I first rang CPS they wanted 45.p. I was quite shocked at the big difference though.
It's currently 3p a litre off being the same price we paid when we first had our central heating put in, 2009. Wish I could store it up somewhere.0 -
First I ever bought was 16ppl in 1981. It then went pretty steadily down reaching a low of 9.5ppl in 1998. Since then the trend has been mostly upwards. :-(0

Asked Woldlink (by phone) about opening a domestic oil account at the end of February; was told yes & they would email me details.
Two emails since from me to remind them & still no response.
Worries me when a company can't be bothered (even if they are supposedly cheap) SO will stay with the oil club. :cool:0 -
The Oil Club are quoting me 35.2 ppl +vat this weekend.0

you live in the wrong place. They're quoting me:
Rate: £0.3499 (pence per litre excluding vat [5% for Domestic use])
Most forecasts I'm reading anticipate more falls (especially with Iran sanctions lifted, but as always it's a gamble.....0
