Today I have opened an online ISA to put my heating system money away. It is with a company I don't owe any money to so it can't be nabbed :D

Tomorrow I have two heating engineers comng to look at our house, and give an estimate of cost for the new heating sysytem.

At the moment I have no idea how we will pay for it all, but hoping my father's house will sell soon and I will get my 1/8th share. :)

I know I should concentrate on clearing debts but my health has to come first.

Thanks beanielou. My FM and arthritis and asthma have all deteriorated since having no proper working heating system.

The black mould tells it's own tale. We had none for the first 15 years here...for the last four it has crept up on us.......gradually.

Mould potentially will give off bad spores which are no good for your respiratory so defnitely look after yourself. Without you, none of this matters! :)

I just had another quote for a heating system. £26k!!!!!!!!!!!

May be giving that one a miss. :D

3rd company representative coming at 2.30pm. I am feeling shattered after the last one.

We are going to go food shopping to 4ldi, to take the clothes back to Mr S that DA didn't want and to drop off some Freegle items. That will be after my next visitor if I still have a brain.

In between times I am researching the safe way to remove black mould :D

Good thing I was sitting down when he told me too. I think my chin may have hit the floor!
Mr P says has the guy gone away to dream up a system to cost us as much as possible.

No 3 will be here at 2.30 so I am going to go and find my menu plan, maybe do a few tweaks and get everything ready so I can just pick up my bags and leave when no. 3 has gone.

We have heard from Mr P's old union to say they are inundated with requests for help so will get back to us in due course. We are hoping for just a tiny grant towards the heating system/new boiler.
We are thinking that Mr P can do some of the stripping out of old one to save on labour cost. A bit of a pipe dream still, to have a working central heating system.

    So plan for next hour,
    menu plan
    shopping list
    vouchers
Mr S things to take back
    Mr S till receipt
Curtains to go to lady in town (Freegling)
Sort revision books to go to another Freegler

I rang our local district council about the mould and the man I need to speak to is on holiday. Made a note to phone him next Wednesday.

DFW321 It must have been horrible having to live in a mouldy house with small children.
I am 100% sure I will not be seeing anyone from that heating company again. But I was able to help him, I hope, as he was worried about his little daughter being bullied at school.
