7th NSD today.
The bed base we collected yesterday was great and DS3 slept on it last night very well. The cushions are going to be ideal to reshape for DA to sit on. The things we collected yesterday saved us around £120 or possibly more.
I transferred £25 to a savings account for the lamb fund. We now have £38 saved towards the lamb bill. Hopefully it will be paid by the end of the month. Then we will move onto the next debt.
DB is keeping to himself, couldn't be pursuaded to come here for dinner but he has his meds and knows we are here. DS3 sais it did his dad good to go out yesterday and he has been out chopping wood today with his new log splitter.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

NSD 8 today!! I have put together a shopping list on mysupermarket but having studied prices elsewhere will be shopping at 4ldi either tomorrow or Monday when we already need to travel off the moor for other reasons, thereby saving petrol/diesel.
DS3 says he is sleeping much better on his new bed base. The other one had collapsed in more than one place and now it is standing in the corridor I can see the screws, nails and extra bits of wood that have been used to repair it over the years. He still has his super comfy mattress. I bought all of my kids a super luxury quality mattress when they were 18.
Today I have phoned the accountant to ask him to add a few extras to our costs for 2011-12 that I had forgotten about.
I had to pay Mr Pooh's builders merchant account with my personal credit card as he had a bill for £199 outstanding from October. They were about to start prceedings against him. Poor love has just been burying his head under the sand and not opening the invoices, then statements. Everything is now paid for on that account at least. It means I have lost my £200 back up on a credit card. I also now have to start paying interest on it as the 0% ended on 31st December. Still haven't found a 0% credit card that will accept mebusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Keep plodding. But as you say at least I had it to use. It was available because I was paying off over £100 a month. I think there is still £40 available now so it can be there in case of emergency this month. I really really need Mr P to find some work soon.
I am trying to keep positive. We have managed to pay all our bills this month which I didn't think we would manage.
But I need a miracle to pay next months bills.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Oh Pooh, I really do hope you get that miracle !

Not many months ago I used to go out to lunch every Friday. And it wasn't cheap, at least £5 for jacket potato and a cuppa. And I had a swim beforehand too at around £2. You don't think about all the little extras until you don't have the money. Over time they have all added up to an amount I could have used for paying off debt.
I think I have learned another lesson and when we do have spare again will be using it more wisely.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Pinot, I do hope things improve for you too. It is such a difficult time for so many people. And this year we can't blame the expense of Christmas as we didn't spend anything.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

We will keep our fingers and toes crossed for each other. Things will improve for us both I am sure of it.
I can blame Christmas, as we were hosting the "Keeping Up Appearances Christmas" it cost a small fortune although I did still cut corners. This year we wont be though so that will help.
I need to give myself a kick up the bum and plaster on the manic smiley grin I used so often last year ! Would you like to share it with me ?!!! xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

At the same time Pooh, it wasn't like you were going to an expensive restaurant and having 3 courses and a bottle of wine every friday! Don't beat yourself up about it.
