It would not have been a deliberate attempt to try and catch you out, as said above it was probably an error or the letter lost in the post.dave030445 wrote: »How can you say it would not of been deliberate attempt to catch me out you cant be sure thats just what you think. And why reply with allmost the same answer as the first post.
How rude towards someone trying to help! I hate how mean some people are on here when they dont get the answer they want.0 -
But why punish the genuine ???? I have been declared unfit for work but do work for a few hrs a week of permitted work and always have done since claiming. I do think that sometimes that the few who jump on the ..'get a job ' bandwagon should think themselves lucky that they have never had to be in the position of the genuine claimants. We are willing to work and in some cases, like me do work but we are all not able to work full time. I feel offended that i am being accused of fiddling the sickness as Ivory Tinkler puts it. Why should i and others like me made to feel ashamed of being sick.... smacks a bit of discrimination to be honest."I may not have gone where i intended to go,but think i have ended up where i needed to be".Douglas Adams0

I haven't accused you of fiddling the sickness? I think you might have misunderstood my post.0 -
What if you are employed but due to your disability the company, who are a manufacturer, that you work for do not have a suitable vacancy that caters for your disability as you are a factory worker with no skills?
If you leave the company on your own free will to work somewhere else you would then stand to lose thousands of pounds in your occupational pension scheme and other benefits associated with the pension scheme.
How many companies would be happy to employ some one with a known disability where a specialist has stated that they can oly work up to 4 hours or any one day and that the work must not be repetitive?
I would say that you are then caught up in a catch 22 situation as an ATOS medical will declare you fit for work but the company where you are already employed do not have a suitable vacancy. If the DWP pressurise you into leaving the company to find other work you lose thousands in pension benefits. If you don't leave you may lose your ESA benefit.0
