Well based on talking too and about ATOS im told they employ nurses...not doctors for financial reasons.
Unless you know something we dont...;)
They employ nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists. Again, what makes you say that the doctor (the OP's words!) was most likely a nurse?
OP, I trust you checked the assessor's ID?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Well ive only ever seen and heard of nurses doing assessments...people often refer too the "nurses" assuming they were doctors.
Just like i used too until someone pointed out the fact Ive just explained.0 -

It is only in the last couple of years that nurses etc have carried out assessments as well as Doctors. Before that it was only Doctors and there are still many Doctors carrying out the assessments.0 -
Here come the conspiracy theorists again......:rotfl:
OP, if you had nothing to hide then even IF they were trying to catch you out (which they were not), then they would have nothing to catch you on, would they?
It would only be fraudulent claimants who worried about being 'caught out' .(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Well, having read your first thread together with your subsequent ones - you dont seem to like people disagreeing with your conspiracy theory.
You were told that ATOS would not waste time visiting without first sending an appointment letter. That the letter had probably been lost in the post or that there had been an error. You were also told that only DWP fraud or compliance could visit unannounced and yet you still think that they were trying to catch you out.
They will question you on your responses on your form. Thats what they do to make sure that you are telling the truth.
People have GOT IT RIGHT - perhaps you need to listen0 -

I did read it correctly. I was pointing out that you would have nothing to worry about.
So what if they were trying to catch someone out by arriving unnannounced (which as mentioned above, they don't do)? What's the problem?(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Why do people respond to threads just attack people and find fault with their posting? Thought this was supposed to a helpful site. According to ATOS themselves they employ health practitioners as there is no need to employ a doctor at £100,000 per annum. I am told this is because all the practitioner does is follow a software script when asking questions and then gives you "x" marks for answer to question.0

The only "attacking" seems to be coming from the OP in this particular thread. He asked a question, got a reasonable answer and then attacked the person who answered, simply for answering his question!
OP asks:dave030445 wrote: »I was just wondering weather they dont tell you when they are coming to try and trick you out.
Healy answers:It would not have been a deliberate attempt to try and catch you out, as said above it was probably an error or the letter lost in the post.
OP states:dave030445 wrote: »How can you say it would not of been deliberate attempt to catch me out you cant be sure thats just what you think.
Why state you are "wondering" about something which implies asking a question, when you feel you already know the answer, and jump on someone because they didn't say what you obviously wanted them to say?
Questions about benefit entitlement should be here. Anything else such as opinions, viewpoints and theories should be in discussion time.0
