Any First Capital Connect trains after/including the 08:46 then £25 Off Peak Day Return First Capital Connect Only.

But if you can stick to a timed train then £21.40*
Peterborough to London 08:26 Advance single £9.55
London to Peterborough 20:05 Advance single £11.85

*Has to be bought through the East Coast Website to get a 10% online discount.

  • Hi everyone,

I have just signed up to the site when i was looking for cheap train tickets. Can someone help me find cheap tickets to London. I am taking my 2 children for 2 days and would like to be near the center of London.

    Details are:

    1 adult and 2 children

    Depart 15/02/12 - Lancaster (9:30am onwards)

Depart 17/02/12 - London station closest to town center (12 dinner time onwards)

Id be very grateful if someone could help me find the cheapest tickets, i am also going to try and borrow a rail card for when i pay on line.

    Regards
    Johny

You don't need a railcard when buying railcard discounted tickets online.

You do need the railcard when travelling with railcard discounted tickets... whether purchased online or not.

I think you need to consider your railcard tactics a bit more. ;)

Hi, looking for a return ticket from Exeter St Davids to Bristol Airport leaving on 14th March by 7.30am latest and returning 28th March after 4.00pm. Best price I see is £39.60 return and wondering if any way to buy it for less :)
The traveller is over 55 if that helps any?

    Thanks :)

Got this myself now. Hadn't known about Tesco Clubcard rewards and train company RedSpottedHanky.com. So essentially got them free :j

Well that will be the price then. If you use East coast then you wont pay any fee's and sign up to their reward scheme to start earning points with them.

Are you booking advance non-flexible tickets? If so booking through East Coast directly (on their site) will get you another 10% off.
