Megatrain goes as far West as Exeter, however, you could get a Megabus from Redruth to London then a train from London to Littelhampton, could work out cheaper?Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
I used to do this journey quite a bit about 18mths to 3 years ago (did 50+ journeys in 18mths) - Reading to Birmingham New Street. Never get the direct ticket unless you need an open ticket. Always get Reading-Banbury and Banbury-Birmingham New Street. You dont get off as its the same train
Direct (open) - an eyewatering £87
Split (use that day only) - £38.10 (Reading- Banbury £20 & Banbury Birmingham NS £18.10)
I see the train companies have yet again increased their fares astronomically - they should NOT be allowed to get away with this
fairly recently these fares were:-
Direct (open) - £62 (has gone up 40% in less than 2 years!!)
Split (use that day only) - £34.60 (was this price 2 months ago)Stevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -

the prices seem to be creeping up!0

Ridership and energy costs are rising. Those are probably what's driving the price increase!0

No, the government wants to reduce the taxpayer contribution and increase the passenger contribution to the rail industry.0

Change at Westbury and Southampton.
Dep Littlehampton 13:15, arr Redruth 20:10.
