Dyson DC15 Allergy "The Ball"

I have a DC07 (yellow/grey). Should I get one of these (DC15)? The suction power and storage of the bin and maximum reach aren't as good. I'm struggling to see what's actually better in the DC15 - is it just the gimmick of the ball?

got myself a DC15, awesome machine and the suction really is amazing, you cant really measure suction using just Air Watts as the design might be more efficient

the buttons dont light up but you can tell by the sound if the brushhead is on

we reserved one yesterday and picked up today wife just tried new dyson out on rugs cleaned earlier today with old dyson dco4 new machine is great couldnt believe how much dirt still left in rugs, very pleased.

I beg to differ re:measuring suction as yes, the design may be different but in the end a vacuum cleaner is most efficient by its suction. The reason im so sure is that i was told about the air watts from a family friend who has been trained by dyson themselves.

Id just like to say thanks to the OP - I picked one up at Abingdon Argos at the weekend - well worth the money

I picked one up yesterday and hoovered with my DC07, then with new DC15. The results were amazing, carpets look new and the muck it collected was unbelievable. Well worth the money.

Hi guys,

We are after a new Vaccum and after reading loads of threads on this - It seems like the Dyson DC15 - Ball seems to be a fantastic performer.

Now i can't seem to find a decent/cheap price anywhere.

They say 2 pairs of eyes are better than one and on MSE we have loads of them.

Can somebody keep their peepers out please?

I would liek to nab this at the cheapest possible price.
