It is not a price mistake , Argos even advertise it on the television.
It was reduced to £240 then it was reduced to £169 because they want to shift the stock as obviously a newer model is coming out.0 -

Depends on if you want a cylinder or upright cleaner i suppose0 -
Hi All,
Having done my research you will find that this allery cleaner does not have as much suction as this one for £150
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4052401/Trail/C%24cip%3D42001.Kitchen%2Band%2Blaundry%3EC%24cip%3D42049.Vacuum%2Bcleaners%3EC%24cip%3D47001.Dyson%2BCleaners.htm
(sorry if a huge link appears above..not good at this tecchie bit!)
The suction power is measured in "Air Watts" and you will find the allergy has 220 but the one above has 260. Also, i have been told that the allery isnt as sturdy as the one on the above link as there is a part you slighty step on when you start hoovering to lever it down and on the allery it is more of a clip that could easily be broken with regular use.
Hope this helps. I have changed my mind and am going for the £150 one instead. I have got the allergy reserved in Bedford town centre if anyone wants the code pls PM me.
Although i have got mixed flooring i have realised that with a higher suction power the one on the link above should be fine anyway but if that does bother you... here is a link for the same model with same spec but it does state that its for both floors

its called the DC07 brush and is at £169.99 on the comet website but it does have a 10% off offer on if you enter 10DYSON at checkout as stated on website bringing it down to 152.99 ex. delivery.
hope this helps
