Dyson DC15 Allergy "The Ball"

  • These are running at over £200 on ebay......not one of you is it?;)

Just had the Dyson man replace just about everything (including the motor and all filters) on our 3 year old DC07 for the princely sum of £25. They had already sent a new cyclone chamber, so now works as good as new. I suspect they are trying to keep customers as we very nearly went for a new Miele.

Incidentally, Which now has the DC14 as it's Best Buy upright, with the Ball at number two since the inception of the 5 year warranty. Good price...I'm still tempted (and I'm a bloke!!)

They work fine on my laminate flooring, there is a switch next to the on/off button to turn off the brushbar for hard floors.

have just noticed this is £349.99 in Currys so if they have it in stock in your local store you could pricematch and 10% off the difference and get it for £151.99 !
  • Top idea deanos.....have just reserved one and have Curry's right next door!

  • Gone for it - reserved one for tomorrow.

Somebody tell me how good these are please to justify it?????
    Bloody brilliant....
I have four children and five cats.....they are amazing. We bought our first about nine years ago and the salesperson told us to hoover our mattress before anything else...not nice..and I am clean!!
The next place we did was in front of the fireplace where the cats lay. We had prior hoovered it with our normal vac and it looked fine. Didn't really think anything else would come up. GROSS!!!!! They are really good and we are on our fourth now. Having said that all four are still going strong and have been distributed amongst family to convert them!
