  • I'm having a special Christmas screening in school on the 1st December for 172 kids...the organisers suggested Psycho (not sure where the festivities are in taht one!) but I decided to go for It's a Wonderful Life. I think I've lived in a hole as I have never seen it...can't wait :)

It did get me thinking though...favourite Christmas movie anyone???

I saw the Finnish film 'Rare Exports' the other day and it is without doubt The Best Christmas Film EVER... in my opinion obviously...although I will say it had more wit, humour, heart and above all originality than 100 Hollywood films for the festive or any period.

    Case closed. :D
  • I ended up with a baby in a pram next to me at the showin of Unstoppable. I think thats perhaps an extreme enterpretation of the a on the 12a rating.

I think it was probably more due to the fact the cinema i was it was in a "deprived" area shall we say lol.

Is this film actually going to public release? the amount of free screeners im surprised there is many people left yet to see it! Joking.

  • I have a question regarding Unstoppable tomorrow (16th November) with the Metro promotion - do I need a Metro paper or would the printed Showfilmfirst voucher suffice? The reason I ask is I don't have the paper and I only learned about the code from here.

You just need the printed voucher. :)
  • Thanks, I really appreciate it. I'm a major fan of Tony Scott and Denzel Washington so this was one of my most anticipated films of the year. It's wonderful to see it early!
