reply to travellingbum, post 918.
I thought this was a little strange, so i emailed showfirst. They replied saying it was definately correct and to enjoy the film.
So the free viewings of Made in Dagenham for sunday 14th are legit. :-)
(you could call the cinema you are going to in case you are still worried)0 -
well, i saw unstoppable last night and was disappointed.
the cinema was back to less than 50% full, with no security, though.

That's probably because there's no-one left who hasn't seen it already.0 -

Given the massive amount of tix for unstoppable, and IIRC previously for The Blind Side - how do movie studios make money out of these films? I'd be surprised if many people actually paid to see them.
On that note, which film would you say has had more free screenings/tickets than any other? I seem to remember about 3 or 4 pages on the codes thread for The Blind Side at one point lol0 -

Believe it or not the numbers of people who see free films is a tiny proportion of the total (even though it is dwindling) cinema audience.
A lot of people who see free films also buy them on DVD/Blu-Ray later on0 -

I remember seemed like a million screenings for the film 21 with Kevin Spacey a couple of years back if you didn't get tickets for that one then there was something wrong, i went to see Unstoppable and although it was perfectly watchable at times i found it a bit boring.0 -
