I don't uinderstand why people can't read the title of the thread but can manage to read the messages!
The thread says No Discussion. This thread is called discussion thread. Simples!
I agree that the person who requested the code maybe should have done so on here or via a private message.
But saying that people should have looked on here because the code was on here, in such an aggressive manner, is riduiculous.
In case you haven't read, this is the discussion thread, not the codes thread.Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

crystal64 would you please delete your post on codes only.
The code for Unstoppable has been posted twice before (I used search facility to check that info)
The info about the Diet Coke festival can be found in post #35 which is only four posts previous to your message.
Dupe codes clutter up the thread making it hard for people to check (if anyone does bother to check) if a code has been posted by another member.
Thank you0 -

My point was aimed at experienced members who should know better. I don't even know why people were asking me in the first place.
The request for anything is discussion/chat and should always go in this thread. That's the point.
You think I'm aggressive, wait until you've received pm's from people who pay to log on only to find chat instead of a code. They are the aggressive ones!0 -
But why point out on the codes thread that they should know better? And then you duplicated the code anyway???
I'm getting fed up of logging on here to read people's opinions of films, only to find that people are arguing with each other. Which puts me off wanting to express my opinions and chat about films! This should be a great environment for people to enjoy themselves! I can only guess that you get the pms because you're always on here telling people off (as well as giving great, information) - so maybe they thought you were a board guide???Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

Guys, it's time we all calmed down a bit about this posting in the "right place" issue as it's starting to take the fun out of the chase for some people.
Please, if you feel something's in the "wrong" place email the link to that post to the Forum Team on ... and don't post on the thread about it or tell board guides they're "not doing their job properly" - we don't ask board guides to read all posts - it's impossible to do even if we wanted them to, which we don't because they're not moderators.
Now can we please get back on here to chatting about free cinema!
Thanks!

More tickets released by showfilmfirst for various locations for Unstoppable on 15th November at 6.30pm. Code is 667461.0

I didn't duplicate anything. People were specifically asking me what the code was including at least one person who quote my message. I replied via my telephone. It takes a lot longer to post a message using a phone than it does to type especially when half asleep. By the time my message appeared Blacksky had aslo posted it. Ordinarily I would have deleted my post but as I have already said, for some reason, given that I wasn't the OP, people were asking me on here and in pm.
That is the last I am going to say on the matter.
I have friends with real rather than percieved probems and I will be dealing with them. I do hope that this meets with your approval!trying_2_b_good wrote: »But why point out on the codes thread that they should know better? And then you duplicated the code anyway???

If you are referring to my email, I did not say that at all. I said that there were not enough BGs on a forum this size. More are needed. Quite a different thing Andrea.0 -
Hi Poochface
I believe your issue was that you felt the board guides weren't clearing discussion from the codes only thread quick enough, hence why you say there aren't enough?
This isn't something we're concerned about as it's not a priority and as a team we're happy with how often they do that considering they're not paid at all to do it. I'm also surprised you've said this as we've only recently added another board guide to the Freebies board.
What we are concerned with is prioritising the work we as a team (in which I mean the MSE Team, not board guides) do to save people money, i.e., in finding deals and bargains for the weekly email, deals notes etc and to be fair, having to deal with abuse reports forwarded to us by the Forum Team to sort out issues such as this does take time away from that.
If you could help us by simply reporting problems to abuse@ rather than bringing them up on the forum (which then creates multiple reports about the resulting disagreements) that would help us, and ultimately you assuming you get the weekly email, immensely.
Thanks!

For those of you who have children who might like to go to the new Wallace and Gromit t.v. show (no age restriction on the upper age of the 'children'
) I have posted details of how to get tickets to the Wallace and Gromit Roadshow that will be touring various shopping centres in the country.
Although not free concert and theatre tickets, as the tickets are free I thought it best to post there.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/38160310#Comment_38160310
You will also find info on how to apply to see The Christmas Edition of Top of the Pops.
Ben, you're good at setting up new threads, if you want to set one up for free Audience tickets, please do and I will transfer my posts there.0
