Has anyone seen any offers for cinema tickets at an Apollo Cinema? There's an Apollo near us that we use sometimes but I've never seen any vouchers for it. Thanks.

Maybe it's just me but when I signed up for the codes only emails to cinemas, I got maybe one or two and then it just stopped! Has anyone else experienced this problem?

If so does anyone know how to go about resolving it? I find myself having to visit the MSE forums instead quite a few times per day grrrr!

I think that you have to sign into the site if you get a notification so that it knows that you are still live. I am sure that it used to say that on the actual email but it may have changed!

Did anyone else go to see Adam Cohen at the Glee Club in Birmingham on Tuesday 8th? Ticket said 7.30pm start, we arrived at 7.20 and had to wait outside in the rain - they switched the lights on at 7.30, then started to let people in. Seefilmfirst ticket holders were sent back outside and told they had to wait until 8pm, and only then, if there were tickets left would they be allocated seats! I wasn't being treated like that, told to go stand in the rain, free or not, so left. No idea how many actual got in. Never going back to the Glee Club that's for sure. Shameful way to treat customers.
  • Hi,

With the sky immortals screenings in 3D tonight, does anyone know how the cinemas will work it in terms of the 3D glasses?

I'm going to the showing at the showcase in Glasgow. We do have glasses that we got at an odeon once, but was just wondering if we need to bring these? Or will the cinema provide us with ones tonight? I was wondering if they'd provide us with ones, that we may need to give back.

    Thanks,

    Graham.

Unfortunately 'We Bought A Zoo' will no longer be our preview film for December. Instead we will be previewing the brand new 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked'. We are still offering 4 tickets per customer and the date of the screening is 4th December. Free tickets will be available from 17th November. We apologise for any inconvenience.

(Due to a delay with film production, apparently.)

You will be given the 3D glasses for free at the cinema. You shouldn't be asked to return them. I always keep mine and re-use another pair. Then as each old pair gets scratchy, I have a new pair I can use if I ever go to a screening where I need to pay for them.
  • Ok, cool.

So no need to rush home to pick mine up before going out to the cinema? That was what I was wondering if I needed to go :-)

How nice of sky to pay for 3D glasses for us!

    Thanks again,

    Graham.
