have manage to secure two tickets for the above film in manchester but I am unsure on whether I should go as IMDB say's that the film is in Portuguese,

I would imagine that the film will carry English subtitles but does anyone know for certain if it will be subtitled

If it is in Portugese then yes it will carry subtitles. They won't expect you to speak the language lol

We regret that due to the current public disorder being experienced in certain pockets of the country, the following cinemas have been asked to close by the police.

For this reason the screenings of Elite Squad 2: The Enemy Within will not be taking place in the following locations:

    Birmingham

    Greenwich

    Holloway

    Liverpool One

    Whiteleys

    Wimbledon

All other locations including Glasgow, Manchester, and Newcastle will take place as scheduled. Please check locally for any change to the above.

    Our sincere apologies,

    Telegraph Film Club

Not surprised the London screenings are being cancelled in the light of current events.
    Very disappointing for those affected.

As I said to someone else, it's only a film. People's lives are far more important.

I've seen the destruction in Liverpool for myself today and I had no intention in going to this film even if it had been going ahead.

I had been planning to take dd to London today - luckily I had not actually booked any tickets.
The things we wanted to do and sights we wanted to see will hopefully still be there in a week or so, meanwhile just looking nearer home for trips out.
Must be very worrying for those who live or work in the areas.
  • Went to see Raghu Dixit play in Manchester in Band on the Wall (thanks to an MSE poster), they played one song before the concert got cancelled, rioting had spread, and the venue tried to make sure noone left alone.
    Was frightening outside, walking home!
Great music, shame it got cancelled because of the looters. Hope to see them again.
  • Anyone know if they will release anymore of these tickets nearer date. Would love 2 for London cinema.
