Sorry if this is a stupid question but where do you find out about these codes?

I registered at all the free cinema ticket companies eg. ShowfilmFirst, Paramount Previews, Disney Screenings, SeeFilmFirst etc. about 3 weeks ago and have received nothing in my inbox, yet people are posting codes for these companies in the codes thread.

Am I missing something, I thought they would just send these out via e-mail?

very rarely will you get an email, you have to be proactive and hunt them out, often they are posted on codes only thread, hduk? and fmuk or sometimes codes are found in magazines and newspapers.

You will only get an email if you fit the target audience demographic and then will be posted on here if one of those targeted decides to share it on here or elsewhere of the web.

How each film is promoted is different and is down to the promoters, some will have codes emailed out, some will have the codes in magazines/newspapers aimed by the target audience.

Then there are screenings by Sky Movies, The Times & The Telegraph who provide the screenings to their paying customers as a reward.

I have seen many films & shows through shared codes, but only had a handful of emails. Best thing to do is subscribe to the codes thread so you get an email to alert you of when a code is posted......and hope not too many decide to post chat/questions etc :naughty: in their giving you false alerts.

Also Virgin Media, Paramount Previews, Disney and Momentum amongst others who aren't very active at the moment.
