SUCCESS!! Patience is a virtue they say... only way to get through it seems as previously stated is to refress the Virgin page till you can enter your details, go through to ShowFilm's more than likely fatal error page and keep refreshing that one too till they let you chose the cinema and enter your name.
Good luck to all! Don't give up and refresh, all cinema are still available (at time of posting).0 -

hi folks managed to get ome finally by constantly refreshing so keep trying. i wanted to know if anyone who went to the birmingham preview of transformers can tell me if there were any empty seats as per a normal SFF Screening or whether all those who managed to get tickets actually bothered to go. - i am trying to get SFF to do a reserve ticket system and want to know if the VM showings are as bad as the normal screenings -any help is greatly appreciated - cheers:j0

I went to transformers at Birmingham Odeon. We only got 2 tickets so just me and husband went (think we got last 2). We got there for about 5.40/5.45 and the screen was already almost half full. We managed to get 2 good seats together in the premier row (nicer seats). By about 6ish it was a squeze but they were still bringing a few people in at about 6.15/6.20. I would expect that this will not be as popular as transformers was and would expect to see more 'no shows'. I think we will try and get there before 6. Also, they check your name off at the Virgin screenings.Word of warning about Odeon - they always use the smaller screen. If you ever have a choice between odeon and cineworld in birmingham (like with horrible bosses) go for Cineworld. The screen is bigger, more seats and free parking!0 -
Just got 2 for Sheffield! Had no problems either straight in and straight out. Cheers to OP on cinema tickets. Soooooooooooo looking forward to this! The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0
