I bought yesterday's funday times and got two tickets for Rio. I don't know what exactly to do with them. Are they the tickets themself? Or do I have to purchase tickets submitting them?

I suppose there are thousands of fellow moneysavers like me who will flood to the hall on that day(10th April). How early do I have to go to get in? Any experienced MSE advice?

French, no English subtitles teach me to read about the film before I go, most people left within 10 minutes

No subtitles? That's ridiculous! What a shame.

I knew it was a French film, which doesn't put me off at all, per se, but assumed it'd be shown with English subtitles. Very glad I didn't bother with this one as it would've been a complete waste of time.

Went to see the film last night and unfortunately they had not received the subtitles. We went to Sheffield Cineworld, who were excellent, as they offered us the choice of either continuing watching the film (non), going to see any other film that they were showing, or a ticket to get in free to see a film in the future. What stars.

what a shame - I didnt know it was a french film but we at least had subtitles! I thought it was really good. Dragged on a bit in places (2 1/2 hours) but otherwise very 'human'. My dd came too (aged 15) and because I am a little hard of hearing we always watch tv or movies with subtitles at home so it probably made it easier but she enjoyed it too. We only had a couple of people walk out.

since when did normal cinema tix get sooo expensive?? i took the oh to see source code at odeon, took a £10 vouchers and i still had to pay out £7.60 for normal non 3D seats!! £17.60... what a flipping rip off! film was ok tho, slightly weird but good

That is why so many of us are chasing these free cinema tickets. If I had to pay the full price, a trip to the cinema really would be a 'once in a blue moon' treat.:p

We saw Little White Lies last night. I knew it was in French with subtitles & luckily there were subtitles.

I really enjoyed it (although it would have been better in English), some really funny moments & it made me cry too.
