Just seen Tomorrow when the war began at Cineworld Greenwich with Sky rewards. Was a good film but was surprised how few people were there about 25% full of a screening room with capacity for about 1000 people.

Thats because sky are tightwads and only give out to sky movie customers who would probably rather watch on the telly than go to a cinema with constant chatter and phones ringing and air conditioning so high you have to wear woolies. The rest of us mere mortals, some of whom managed to get backdoor entry in the good ol days used to enjoy going and even then the screenings weren't full. I guess that the will stop bothering showing them soon as they can say no one shows an interest as the screenings are nearly all empty. Take note any skyers who use Portsmouth, fewer and fewer films coming to here now. Also I would be grateful for any skyers who could get me tickets for screenings at the above when films go there, just to keep the numbers up and to help disprove my theory:)

Sidney Lumet ( /luːˈmɛt/ loo-MET; June 25, 1924 – April 9, 2011) was an American director, producer and screenwriter with over 50 films to his name. He was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Director for 12 Angry Men (1957), Dog Day Afternoon (1975), Network (1976) and The Verdict (1982). Although he never won an Academy Award, 14 of his films were nominated for various Oscars, such as Network, which was nominated for 10, winning 4.

  • Does anyone know if it's still possible to take out the £1 Times+ subscription to book the subscriber only tickets? And can this be done just the once or can it be done multiple times? I don't mind paying £1 to get a couple of tickets seeing as that's still a massive saving.

If this is possible I wondered if someone with a subscription could please do me a favour and check whether there are any Arthur tickets left for Derby (I need 2) so I don't pay my £1 for nothing? Thanks very much!

is it me or has there been a lack of ShowFF, SeeFF, TellTen, etc... screenings recently. Red Riding Hood being the only recent one & that was only in one cinema!
I have said this on my last few comments. It's completely dried up round here (Exeter), though there were never many in the first place.:(

Conspiracy theory being that they want more folks to sign up to VIP list?

Or is it the same scarce prospect facing those who have signed up to VIP?
don't judge me - i already know my flaws
  • Well, i think leading up to summer you get the most tickets then and during winter.

Does seem to be quieter though. :(
