Rainey LB got popcorn at her cinema too. Sounds more like it was too do with the film. I've been to Cheshire Oaks before and never been given free popcorn before.0 -
Also saw Despicable Me tonight.
thanks Poochface
Loved it.
Screening about 95% full.
Was given a box with popcorn and 3D glasses as we walked in..... and noticed staff only had about 6 boxes left as they wheeled out the trolly before the film started.
First time we have ever received free popcorn.
Lots of families walking in having spent a fortune on refreshments from the kiosk outside..... but the free popcorn was in a sealed bag, so could always be taken home for another day.
We hadn't bought any refreshments with us, so our free popcorn was soon wolfed down:p
Film was much better than I expected.
Lots of laughs, lots of sentimental moments, and even a few moments when a tear appeared in the corner of my eye !!
I thought the 3D was excellent - still getting used to it;)
Lovely to hear all the young ones giggling, and didn't notice many people leaving to visit the toilet...... so either kids were all glued to the story on screen, or I was and didn't notice them !!
Made a nice change having the slightly later start time, that extra half hour made all the difference in the traffic, and in the turn-around time of getting home, and then going back out again !0 -
Hi I saw despicable me last night great film!! But I managed to grab free tickets through sky even though I'm not a Skye customer! But the login page I used from here to bypass the fact I'm not a sky customer I can no longer find:( I think it began with bt? Can any one shed any light on this0

Easy A - Tuesday 19th October - 6pm for 6.30pm start
This is complicated but let's hope it works for us eventually.
New code for new film - Easy A in today's Heat mag.
www.showfilmfirst.com
Code in mag is 159355. This is wrong. Correct code is 159335
When you choose location and tickets, you then get an error message.
But if you go to Login-edit details, it shows you have booked your tickets.
But when you cick to print tickets, you don't get an image to print.
Nor do you receive an email confirming booking.
See what I mean about complicated!!
Have you raised it with SFF pooch?0 -

We have only got free popcorn for 3 Sky screenings so far, Shrek, Toy Story and Despicable me so its not the norm but it does seem to happen for this type of film.0 -

The emails don't come through for this booking but you are supposed to be able to print them out from there list of tickets thats you have booked on there show film first website but it's not even doing that at the moment, maybe they will fix the glitch soon0
