Seriously, will people stop attacking our valued posters? Yes sometimes the noise on the codes thread is annoying, things can always be improved etc. But let's remember that the posters there are all volunteers that give their time for free, and that most of us have benefited from enormously!
And (not aimed at Ben) even if someone just does it for thanks, what's wrong with that? How many strangers do you know that go out of their way to get you free stuff? I would be shocked if there wasn't some ego involved, that's only fair.
Sure we can improve things (for example it'd be great if you could subscribe to screenings in your favourite city/cities only), but let's remember what we have here before we p*ss people off, just because it's not 100% perfect ...0 -
Anyone could join fmuk, and just take across their codes. Hell, I could do that. Other things were discussed. Only parts of the conversation were discussed - the touchy bits - that someone didn't want to hear.Invented tradition: Couponology

I realised that by misstake I booked tickets for Love and Other Drugs & The Next Three Days for the same date/time next week! Of course I'll be releasing my tickets for one movie soon, but before doing so can someone who's seen either or both movies tell me which one I should go to and why? Thanks!0

Set yourself away then... just make sure you get the codes quick so lots of MSErs can benefit0 -

If they're on FMUK, why would I need to take them across to MSE. For thanks only? No thanks. I just have to log onto FMUK to do that. Any MSE'r can do that - just join FMUK. The only reason to take them across to MSE would be for thanks. It's a members only site, not a public forum like here, and so I don't want to annoy my fellow members - unlike you do.Invented tradition: Couponology

You seem to have missed the point, or are just trying to cause trouble.
I shall spell it out as clear as I possibly can... so please listen
I bring codes over from FMUK so MSE members can use them... that is all
Not for the thanks, not for the glory, but simply to help people who help me
If any members of MSE are not members of FMUK, then they miss the chance of the codes if someone does not post them on here
If this is not simple to understand then please ask someone who understands to explain it to you
You have branded me as two things recently; a thanks wanter, and a self appointed board guide. I am neither! I am someone who wants to help others, and wants to keep the board as they should be, and if that includes getting codes from other sites and posting them on here, or reminding people of the rules which have been set by the site, then so be it.
Call me what ever you want, but I will continue to help other people, and no doubt, you will continue your sad pathetic little vendetta against me0 -
You want to help yourself, no one else. Stop trying to pretend otherwise.
For someone who said, he would put me on his ignore list because I said something that he did not want to hear, then feel free to do so.
I will continue to point out the contradictions in your posts. There are sure to be many more. Other users have the right to contribute on this board without you telling them not to do something, and then do it yourself. It's farcical.Invented tradition: Couponology
