what other books have you read, i'm trying to find some good one havent so far. any that you would recommend

God,. now you're asking. I got most of my books from the Library and my memory is pants now to be fair. I'll ask the old dear when I get a chance, she might be able to remember more.

I do remember losing myself in the wonderful world of FF or SS many a time :)
  • Thanks everyone for your input, I decided to go for The Next Three Days myself. Just emailed them to release my tickets for Love and Other Drugs (December 14, Odeon Covent Garden, London). Not sure how long it takes to show back up on their webpage, if it does, but just a heads up in case anyone is interested :)

For whoever's seen The Next Three Days, would you say it would be worth seeing in the cinema or waiting for the DVD? No [edit to add: free] screenings near me, but would like to watch the movie one way or another.

Went to see this lovely Italian film the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some quirky characters and funny moments. I highly recommend it.

Got ticket elsewhere to see The Next Three Days. Pretty chuffed :). Clashes with Catfish, but I'm sure I'll catch that one later.

I'd say defo see in cinema unless you have a large screen and good sound system, as the suspense was well worth viewing in cinemaland. I was not expecting much from this and hadn't heard many reviews but its good enough to put Russell Crowe back amongst the good actors and stands alone almost like a Law abiding citizen kinda way. If there was a choice between the two it would be difficult to choose and can't say more without giving spoiler alerts, I would skip Catfish but then it would not appeal to me anyway.

Thanks for this. Yep, chose The Next Three Days over Catfish.

However, the 'twist' shown in the trailer for Catfish made it seem like it might be a good watch, but we know how good they can make trailers look. I'll wait for that one then.

I missed out on The King's Speech. Finished work early, went shopping, and my 'code checker' missed it - typical!!!

  • I hope they allocate more tickets for The King's Speech :(

    Agree.
Saw the trailer for this and it looks excellent.
Wonderful to see Colin Firth getting these great parts.

Not heard much of Jennifer Ehle..... thought she was fantastic in P&P. Hated her character in Camomile Lawn..... but that probably shows how good she was.

Oh, just reading up on Kings speech, and Jennifer is in it!!
    How senedipitous !

I have the impression this one is going to be his Oscar, although I won't be watching it until next week! It's just a hunch!
Thanks to those who help us to win !
